Cheap price for good quality product!
I thought $27 was a bit much for a toilet seat, but after going threw numerous cheaper seats, I caved and got this one. Now I think $27 was a steal!!! This seat belongs in a much nicer bathroom!!! Lmao I love it. It's super classy looking and matches the hardware in the bathroom perfectly. It's also super strong!!! Does not slam. The lid goes down slowly. Installation was easy and pretty standard. Wipes clean easily. I've already sent links to all my big bootie friends and family!!! Which is all of us!!!!!

Very good quality, letโs hope metal hinges last longerโฆ
Had to make a change from plastic hinges to metal because no matter the brand, price point. hinge vs. back solid bar.. it was like the brand did not matter, the plastic hinges last failed, eventually!!! Iโm hoping metal hinges on this soft close, wooden seat will be a longer term answer!!! If it failsโฆ Iโll be back to tell you soโฆ Only had it installed for a few days now. Looks & feels like quality to me.

metal hinges and self closing slow motion lid, finishes and sturdiness.
This is the second time we buy this toilet lid. It works fine. We like the fact that the lid slowly close itself and does not crash with the ring. We will orde this product again. The effort to sit in the toilet when someone is handicap creates the lid and ring to be worn out but this one seems to be more sturdy than the one we order before. It was also easy to adapt to the adjustable bidet that is a must for a handicap patient.

Good value replacement toilet seat-set for elongated toilets
This is a well made and strong toilet set with lid. It stays in place very well and is nicely elongated which fits with my existing toilet (that was discontinued by a major manufacturer!). So I had to find a replacement brand for an equally comfortable new seat-set. This was it! Iโm pretty happy with thisโฆ with one exception. I have the oil rubbed bronze version.. and it looks great when freshly installed. But the bronze color, which is adhered to the hinges, chips off over time. I have purchased this multiple times due to this issue. The overall value keeps me coming back. Otherwise the build quality is good. Itโs not flimsy plastic. And the included attachment hardware to the toilet itself is very secure. So I am very happy with that. Cleaning requires occasional bleach products to keep it sparking clean and white. But what doesnโt in the bathroom? Overall, happy with this purchase.

Easy to install, comfortable, looks expensive, fits perfectly!
This seat is perfect. I bought it to replace the Kohler seat that came with our new chair height toilet (that seat was soooooo uncomfortable), and since we had used this brand before, I gave this one a shot. It was super easy to install. More to come on that. One thing to note is that it does not appear to be the mounting system that makes the seat easily removable for cleaning, but to be honest, I never actually used that feature on our old seat because it was easy to clean anyway. On to the installation. It was really easy. Donโt be afraid to manhandle the hinges to get them to lie flat against the porcelain of the toilet. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. You will put the metal bolt in and then a small white plastic nutโฆthen you will INSTALL FROM THE TOP. The hinges were tight and I had to really work them to get them to lie flat, and then the mounting holes on the toilet itself were a tight fit when I pushed the round plastic piece into them, but it was easy enough! I am sure some people think something is wrong because it doesnโt come out of the package ready to lie flush against the toilet and because you have to push the plastic top piece pretty hard into the mounting holes, but IT WASNโT HARD. Once I had it lying flat and lined up the way I wanted to, I finger tightened the bottom nut, then used a socket wrench to tighten it all the way. You donโt need a socket wrench, but itโs easier. When it was tight enough, the little plastic indicator piece on the bottom nut popped off and that was it. THIS THING WILL NOT BUDGE. It looks great. It is a thick seat and the slow-close feature works wonderfully. Best of all, it is COMFORTABLE. The chrome hinges are bigger than I thought they would be, but they look BETTER than what I had gathered from the stock photo. The seat looks expensive and well made. Much nicer than the Kohler lid that came with our toilet. Some tips/info: 1) When tightening the bolt down after the first finger tightening, get someone to hold the seat in place while you do it so it doesnโt shift. 2) Read the directions and FOLLOW THEM. 3) Read the directions. 4) Did I mention that you should read and follow the directions? I get irritated when people complain about difficult installation but you can clearly tell they didnโt read. This was easy. 5) To that end, I am a 47-year-old women and I like doing these small things around the house. The only thing I asked of my husband on this one was to hold the seat in place while I cranked down the nut because he was the closest available person. If my dog had opposable thumbs, he could have helped me install this seat, it was that easy! :)

If you have OCD pass!
UPDATE: We're a year in, and it's still holding strong! More so than its other brand predecessors, three times in a nine-year span. Also, I do not have any peeling paint as stated in one of the other reviews. Love the toilet seat itself. We will see if I should have paid more attention to the โpeeling paintโ reviews with updates. (no men or boys in the house!) The first one, I thought, was just a defect. The left hinge has separated slightly, allowing you to see the clear/white plastic insert. Fast forward to almost standing on my head to remove the replacement for my last cheap one, then to the replacement for the replacement, and you guessed it. Now, it is separated on the right hinge. So if โuneven thingsโ annoy you, keep shopping. I gave up and will not take this off to find a replacement. I will call it a day and maybe hit it with a black Sharpie, so itโs not so obvious. Itโs a shame, but the seat is good and sturdy so far; I'm just disappointed with the hinges. This could possibly be because this toilet is the original since I moved in; how long it was here before that, who knows? Perhaps it's twenty years old, and perhaps the main holes are just a hair wider than those of a newer toilet. (I live in a rental - you do the math!) Bonus: the replacement does not have a tiny imperfection on the lid. Yes, we're back to that OCD thing again!

No more hinge poppin off!
Our toilet seat has been broken for a while and finally got around to replacing it! Ordered this round seat to replace a kohler brand toilet and it fit like a glove. The chrome hinge was on sale so I went with that even though Im not a fan of chrome. But it actually doesnt look too bad at all. I specifically went with this set up because I dont like the ones that just snap on. This one, the screw attaches to the hinge and screws from the bottom. The wood feels solid and the lid doesnt just slam down. Installation is easy. I would recommend this round toilet seat as a good replacement.

Great product
It seems a little odd to be writing a rave review on a toilet seat, but this product deserves it: it is quality through and through. From the heavy duty hardware to the solid, white enamelled wood seat, the whole thing exhibits great design and craftsmanship. After putting up for years with crummy, lightweight plastic seats, this is a real addition to our bathroom.

Good quality for the price!
I first bought one to try on the guest bathroom toilet but ended up buying a second one for the master bedroom bathroom! They have the soft close so quiet when closing and very sturdy and solid to sit on!
