Great connector.
I have these on five or six tools around my shop to make it easy to swap out my dust collector hose. Couldn’t do without them.

Read this before you purchase this.
Don't buy this if you are looking to connect two 3 " pieces of pvc pipe together. The word socket in the title means that it's used to couple two sockets ( also known as hubs - the fittings that 3 " pipe fits into - together. I didn't pay attention to this and bought it since the orange "big box" in my area didn't carry a 3 " pipe to pipe coupling. I found out the blue "big box" does. These will go back to Amazon.

It was returned
The bottom stainless steel ring attachment was missing from this product. It was therefore useless and returned for a refund.

Excellent product
Major plumbing supply company personnel don't even know this product exists but my intuition told me that someone should make such a product. I did an internet search, found this great fitting and it was no surprise that Fernco is the manufacturer ! Fernco makes excellent products right here in USA as opposed to their competition who, with 'American' in their name, makes junk products in China that don't fit the pipe. Some Fernco products are available in one of the major big-box stores but the other carries the Chinese junk brand and the price difference is negligible.

Fits the 4" inlet of Jet Dust Collector
Cut the Fernco fitting into two lengthwise, and used these pieces to connect two Jet metal blastgates to Jet Dust Collector.

Apparently I don't understand what this is for. It is not for coupling two pieces of 3" sewer pipe- the inside diameter is too large for that. The O.D. on 3" ABS sewer pipe is 3.5". The I.D. on this coupling is around 3 3/4" to 3 7/8". Intended for repairing a cracked or broken coupler sleeve? Anyway, don't make the same mistake I did.

Wrong Part Number
The Part sent did not fit, Fernco 1060-33 should have an inside diameter of 3.94 inches part sen had 3.00 inches

Not a 1060-33
Description lists this as a FernCo 1060-33, but I received a 1056-33 (in bag labelled 1060-33). Inside diameter is about 3.6 inches instead of the 3.94 I needed.
