Small opening for water to drain into. Makes it hard to see inside to see water level or to put additives in rain water. Heavy duty and well made. Good picket too

Pretty nice looking rain barrel,pretty funky construction.The fill opening is warped so the screen does not fit squarely in the slot cut for it.Also the opening is much too small for water flow, just runs over the opening,but you can adjust to make it work.I do like the flat back fitting against wall.Overall it is an ok barrel,if you are a DIY person it will work for ya.As far as stability Im hoping this thing last til the water gets hot! Lol May look a little redneck,but it works well!! Lol

Well built, easy to assemble and keeps from dragging out the hose.

Easy to use. You will need to raise off the ground in order to access the valve. Had an issue with one of the valves of the three rain barrels we purchased. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement within 3 days of contacting them. Good product good service.

I set up a drip water system for my bucket vegetable garden. This barrel is set up to collect rainwater off my garage roof, then the water passes through a solar pump on my garage roof. The pump sends the water to drip nozzles in the plant buckets. The barrel is the beginning of this system and it has saved my personal garden from forgotten watering days. I appreciate the flat back of the barrel so it fits snuggly to my garage wall.

We love the way the barrel looks. We had five days of rain immediately after buying this and it worked perfectly. We have it positioned flat side against the house with the gutter down spout stopping just above it. Some things I'd like to mention though; take care screwing in the brass spigot. Best to lay the barrel on its back and make sure the spigot is straight as you screw in. It took me about 4 tries getting it straight in, and it would drip. Be careful because the brass will start to strip the plastic. But once I got it perfectly straight, no leak/drip. The instructions also say hand tighten, but it leaked, so I did use a wrench to turn it one complete turn after I couldn't hand turn it, and that solved the leak, but go easy. The one negative is the spigot is really low on the bottom, no room to attach a hose as is, so set in on top of something. Either buy the stand accessory made to go with it, or we used paver bricks that matched our pavers to set it on to raise it up enough to attach a hose. Overall, would recommend.

I purchased the 50 gallon brass spigot rain barrel. I am having two issues with the product: the screen does not fit well in the rectangular opening on the top of the barrel & there are no holes in the barrel top to screw the screen into as shown in the manual. The screen appears to be just a little too large to fit snugly into the inset opening on the barrel top making it impossible to secure and leaving a gap for insects. I contacted the manufacturing company but after three weeks, they have not resolved the issue.

Great rain barrel. Sturdy and so far no leaks. I installed it on some patio stones in order to raise it off the ground. I use the rain water to fill my watering cans.

I was concerned when I purchased my first rain barrel because of the handful of complaints here in the reviews but I went ahead with the purchase anyhow. After it arrived I set it up and put it under a downspout that I modified. This was the most difficult part of the shole exercise. The barrel held water after the first rain and then after subsequent rains, it filled and excess water came out of the overflow. There were no leaks because I followed the instructions during set-up. In the end, I purchased two more and have been watering my garden for the past several months using the stored rainwater. I have come to the conclusion that the complaints were from people who cross threaded the spigot or did something else wrong because the barrels I got were all well constructed and easy to assemble.

We bought three of these from a local vendor about two years ago. Loved them so much we decide to purchase them online when our local vendor no longer carried them. Great barrel. Flat back, fits nicely against the house. Spigots fit tightly, no need for caulk or plumbers tape. Easy to connect to other barrels.

These are great so far, they're easy to install and look good. We like the way they nicely tuck in beside the house and they seem to be good quality. We built a stand for ours for ease of water flow. We'll see how they last over time, but would recommend trying these for sure.

Better than some store ones I've seen. Very sturdy. Well worth the money.
