I love this mascara! I have a fair complexion and prefer a more natural looking mascara during the daytime, so I really love this brown. It doesn't clump like tube mascara, but does take some practice to use and apply. Once you get the hang of it, it's a dream to work with. You will want to experiment with how much water (warm water works best, imo) to add and how many layers you want to apply.

Fabulous at any Price!
I'm a 63 year old Baby Boomer. And I refuse to age and become frumpy/unattractive - I want to still be attractive and sexy.I've had quite a bit of trouble finding make-up for my age/facial skin issues. I've not been able to wear the ubiquitous wand goop mascara - it clumps and bothers my eyes so much that I've had to remove it. I received the Boncza Cake Mascara yesterday and it is still on my lashes after a busy day and a nap. It's wonderful - easy to apply and does not smudge nor does it irritate my eyes. Being a blond I chose the Brun (Brown color) and will purchase the green/blue soon....I am so very very happy with this mascara....

If you don't want to look like showgirl in the daytime
tricky to get used to, you must allow yourself time to apply.I bought tiny dental brushes to learn with,and they can be bent to an angle.you must be patient,but it does give a natural look&can be used as eyeliner.Makeup forever(Sephora) makes a small bottle of drops called Aqua Seal,that renders it waterproof.You must clean your brush or it will be like cement later,but eye makeup stays put.I have blonde hair&wanted a softer daytime look.Brown mascara is a rarity these days!

It has a very natural look that can be applied as many times as you wish. And the application is quite easy. I will purchase as long as it is available.

TAKES A LITTLE WORK
GOOD PRODUCT, WAS ONCE USED BY ALL THE GREAT HOLLYWOOD STARS. WHICH FIRST CAUGHT MYATTENTION. I LIKE THE PRODUCT, BUT I MUST SAY THAT IT TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USED TO. WHENYOU GET IT DON'T TRY ONE TIME AND GIVE UP. YOU REALLY HAVE TO WORK THE BRUSH INTO THEPRODUCT AND SPEND THE TIME BRUSHING THE LASHES. THIS IS NOT FOR MOMS ON THE GO, ORANYONE THAT NEEDS TO SLEEP IN ANOTHER 10-15 MINUTES IN THE MORNING. I LIKE IT ON WEEKENDS WHEN I CAN SPEND THE TIME, (MEANWHILE I'M ADDICTED TO YSL'S VOLUME MASCARA COLOR#4 AND #5). ALSO, LONGCILS MASCARA REALLY DEFINES THE EYES, I FIND THAT I DONT NEED TO LINE AFTERWARDS.I USED TO USE THE TRISH MCEVOY EYELINER BRUSH DIPPED IN SHADOW, NICE EFFECT. HOWEVER USINGTHIS BRAND, THERE'S NO NEED. SO THAT IS A PLUS WITH THE EXTRA TIME IT TAKES.

Use fresh water...
This mascara is great; more like a stain than a goopy clob.

Not good
The idea was great but the brush was bulky and did not allow for precise application of mascara. This worked in theory but not for the purpose that it was intended.

Not bad
1 drop of water on the cake is more than enough. Don't wet the brush. You want to make the cake gooey not wet. Then it works great.
