Clearly worth it!
Our water had a reddish tint due to sediment. We tried this product and discovered it really works! Water cleared up after two filters which lasted approximately one month apiece. Now we only have to change the filter every 3 to 4 months! Drinking more pure water, aesthetically and literally, clearly is worth it!

Does a great job With cleaning the water
My well pulls up a lot of dirt. This does a great job, removing it from the water and is helping to conserve my plumbing.

Filtering works well but tend to stick in the filter housing
The filtering function works well. For some reason these filters will stick in the housing and "weld" to the plastic. That will make it very difficult to unscrew the filter housing to change the filter. Otherwise, they seem to be an acceptable filter.

Tackled a tough job... and did fine!
Stacked two of these in the filter housing I have between my home storage tanks and the pump which draws from a Prairie lake. Was doubtful the filter could handle annual algae bloom, but it did great. Spray cleaned them and ready to be used again. Good product.
