These are my favorite pair of shorts of my lifetime. 7" sounds long but it's mid-thigh and shorter when sitting. They are so comfortable - a wide band that lies against your skin, breathable lightweight fabric, a liner which means you don't need another layer, high quality, two pockets and a mini zipped pocket in the back for keys or a credit card. I reach for these time and time again. From in and out around ocean, lake, beach, working out, hiking....I have pairs on rotation - black, blue and grey.

The fabric is stretchy, comfy, great pockets, love the longer length. I usually wear size 16 US (36" waist, 45.5 hip) and ordered a XL. Fit was great in the back and waistband, and inner liner. However, I had some weird bunching in the front crotch as it didn't fit my shape quite right. I have large thighs (pear shape) and the shorts were pulling to the front slightly. Hard to explain because they're weren't tight, just slightly awkward. I'm super picky about fit as I'm learning to sew and fit my body properly. I will probably keep them as I love everything else about them and they will be great to try for running / walking in the warm weather. I normally wear leggings to prevent chafing and riding up, but wanted to try something else for variety or when I don't want to wear something as fitted.

The fabric is so soft and comfortable. I’m 5’1 155# they might hit me an inch lower than the picture, which is perfect for me. I don’t like short shorts. I have several baleaf clothing items. I love them. Item is just as pictured. Color true to photo. Quality is fantastic. I have laundered other baleaf clothing in reg wash and dry. If I remember I will hang them to dry. Either way they wash great! If you’re on the fence, go ahead and order, they do not disappoint!!! They are functional for any occasion. Light and airy for warm weather. Fabric is buttery soft! I wear these to ride sxs. They dry quickly, dirt & mud brushes right off with my hand. Fit is perfect. I’m average body size, 51yr, recent weight loss left me with some cottage cheese upper legs, these cover nicely, exactly where needed. They have some stretch to them. Xl would have been too big, med could work if you want them snug, but it could also created muffin top. Like most, I have that baby roll and an upper gut roll. Large was perfect!!

For those of us who don’t like short shorts, this is perfect. I have already bought 2 more. So comfortable and look flattering on. I use these for working out and love them.

The waistband on these shorts has to be pulled up pretty high (almost to belly button) in order for the built in liner to sit right and feel comfortable. They are comfortable enough to run in or to just wear casually. The back zipper pocket is huge - it can hold my phone (Motorola edge) and zip completely although it does bounce a lot when you run. The side pockets don't zip and aren't very deep. They hold up well in the wash and after several wears.

I like the lightness of the material, ’ the quick dry quality, length, and they fit well. I am 5’4” and weigh 135 and got medium. I have bought many Baleaf shirts and really like the SPF and the lightness of the material. I don’t necessarily like the black band on the green shorts but it will do. Order the grey and khaki.

Ich habe mir diese Hose in Ermangelung eines Shoppingtrips aufgrund eines eingegipsten Beins gekauft. Normalerweise kaufe ich Hosen eigentlich nie online, da ich aufgrund meiner Proportionen die Hosen immer vorher anprobieren muss, damit ich keinen Fehlkauf mache. Diesmal habe ich mich trauen müssen, weil ich sonst im Sommer ohne kurze Hose da gesessen hätte. Und was soll ich sagen... Diese Hose zu kaufen war eine sehr gute Idee. Der Stoff fühlt sich sehr leicht an der Haut an. Die Taschen sind super, nicht so wie an anderen Damenhosen. Wobei ich sagen muss, dass sie etwas abstehen, wenn sie nicht gefüllt sind. Die Länge ist perfekt, wenn ich stehe, ist sie in etwa genauso lang wie auf den Fotos. An die eingenähte dünne "Unterhose" muss ich mich noch gewöhnen, sie zwickt aber nirgends. Die Hose hat einen hohen Bund, was ich sehr mag. Es drückt an keiner Stelle. Ich werde mir die Hose nochmal kaufen, allerdings nicht sofort, weil ich sie doch etwas teuer finde und wahrscheinlich erst, sobald ich die Hose etwas mehr in action (beim Laufen) erleben kann...

Really great shorts. Comfy, airy and so light. No rubbing of chaffing and a good sensible length. They don’t ride up or fall down. A pleasure to wear. I was so impressed I ordered another pair. Good size pockets. Great for hiking/camping as they dry quick.

Produit de très bonne qualité, coupe parfaite, matière très légère confortable respirant ne serre pas du tout. Je suis ravie de mon achat pour la pratique de la course à pied, randonnée, vélo il sèche vite n'irrite pas la peau et les poches sont très pratiques. Dès que ma taille sera disponible je m'en achèterai un autre de couleur différente. Merci.

Does pill after some wearing, but the waist band is flattering and the length is so perfect for comfort…and not riding up the thighs. Great pockets.
