Troy 1-Light Wall Sconce Bathroom Modern Dimmable LED Mirror Vanity Light Fixture, Milk Clear

Bought 3 of these to replace some old fixtures in the hallway. Wanted something simple and low profile and these fit the bill. Easily mounts to a 3/0 fixture box. However, I wish the mounting hardware kit came with 8-32 hex nuts instead of caps. No biggie for me as I have spares laying around but if you do purchase this item, you may need some 8-32 hex nuts in order to get the fixture to mount flush to the wall. A T10 E26 bulb is required but not included, but then again none of the fixtures I've ever bought come with bulbs. Overall very happy with this purchase. Looks great. Good price.

Nice simple design. Attractive diffuse lighting. I use LED candelabra base lamps as standard A19 size lamps are too bright make a bright spot in the glass shade.. Socket adapter required but not included. Very nice adapters available from Amazon. This fixture must be installed in wall box and wired in. It is NOT a plug-in. It comes with an adaptor plate that should work with most round wall boxes. Slots allow adjustment so you can mount the fixture level. A small torpedo level works for this. 8-32 x 1" Phillips head screws recommended as the supplied screws may not be long enough. The longer screws make installation easier. This is the standard screw size for US electrical boxes. The screws that come with the fixture to mount it to the adaptor plate are metric and mate to tapped holes in the mounting plate. If you are not familiar with doing simple house wiring like this, do get a knowledgeable friend or electrician to help or to do the installation. Recommended.

Overall I really like this light. It was easy to install and looks great. I did have to ding it a star though because it won’t fit a normal size light bulb. Yes, I tried, there isn’t enough space. It is meant for use with the skinny and long t10 size of bulb. Normally I wouldn’t care and would just buy the different bulb size, but the problem is as of early 2024 nobody makes smart bulbs in that size. They simply don’t exist. So if you’re like me living in an older home that doesn’t have the neutral wire required for rationally priced smart switches and you like having your lights automated, this is not for you. If you don’t care about smart lights this is a great inexpensive choice!

Bought three of these for hallway lights. Searches through many wall lights online and in lighting stores. Found these on here and for the price figured I would give them a shot. So happy I did! They give a simple elegance with great lighting. Love that they don’t stick out super far as I have lower ceilings and kids that bump into everything! They give off great light in a very dark space. Very happy with these.

My stairs are lovely and bright in the daytime, but at night those stairs are a dark plunge. Finally I can see where I am going. Welcome the light.

I went through a ton of the led lights that kept getting burned out. They accent bulbs and I can replace easily. The setup was straightforward and they look great.

So much better than picture. Fairly easy install. Clean modern look. As soon as we hung the first one, we bought two more. Only challenge is our electric box is square so couldn't use adjustable mounting screws meant to go in a round box so we found shorter screws that worked. Our electrical situation is not normal, just old house quirks, so probably not an issue for most. There are good reviews on this at home depot, but easier to buy from Amazon.

This wall sconce is an excellent value for under $25 since it accepts standard U.S. light bulbs. I mounted mine upside-down since it is lighting a stairway to my basement and it works perfectly. Mostly light shining down, but enough shining up to look good. Installing would have been perfect except, as mentioned in numerous other reviews, the manufacturer put the mounting plate bolts in a difficult position. The light must be level, so there's little choice in where the mounting bolts can go. To compound this issue, only 2 cap-nuts are provided, rather than simply including 2 regular nuts which could screw down to any depth. So, for my installation, to get the back fixture flush with the wall, I either had to cut/saw the included bolts a bit shorter, or find my own pass-thru nuts with the exact thread size. Luckily, an easily solvable problem. Otherwise this would have been a 5-star product.

We were doing rewiring of the entire house and needed to replace a wall sconce and install a new one. I dearly want to keep the look and feel of the house in keeping with its construction in the early 1900's. The wall scones (set with dimmer switches) look amazing and blend in very well. Our electrician found them very simple to install, and better yet, they were up to Canadian code. Word of caution... Check before buying anything electrical online to ensure they are up to Canadian code - I'm having to return 3 ceiling light fixtures for that reason. Your electrician should be able to tell you if a product is good for installation here. Otherwise, you may potentially have insurance issues if installing non-compliant fixtures and there is an incident.

Don't buy this. It's supposed to be easy to install but it's quite the opposite. I am experienced with these types of installations so it's not like I don't know what I am doing. This product is poorly designed for North American installations. 1- Mounting bracket screws perfectly align with the electrical box sides making it impossible to mount the thumbscrews tight to the enclosure. I think they drilled the holes in the wrong place. Will not fit North American installations without major modification. 2- Very fidgety thumbscrews to attach the glass shade: there is a gasket that does not stay in place - I opted to glue the gasket to the head of the screw 3- standard lightbulb is very tight fitting - have to remove the glass cover to change the bulb.
