This ocean encyclopedia is really good for kids aged around 9–12. It explains the underwater world in a clear way and has lots of colourful CGI images and cross-sections that make things easy to understand. There are plenty of facts about sea creatures, ocean maps, and different marine environments. It feels well researched and reliable. I paid £15.99 for it, which seems fair for the quality. If you buy it on Amazon with Prime, you also get free delivery and easy 30-day returns if needed. Overall, it’s a solid, interesting book for curious children.

Great book, not as good as the dinosaur or animal version of this book. Not as many animals but still a great educational book with lots of large pictures!

Do you have a kid who loves the ocean and is curious about marine life? This encyclopedia has stunning images and great text. It’s easy for parents to read to kids, and the pictures keep them engaged and interested. Bought it when my kid was 4, he’s 6 and still loves it. We even got it for someone else as a birthday gift and it was well received.
