Best poop scooper ever! (But get a wide rubber band for the larger cup) - UPDATED
Due to physical limitations, it was getting more difficult to clean up after our dog. Our son purchased a claw type scooper, but that did not work well at all. The handle kept falling off due to poor design or manufacturing, and it was difficult to empty without losing what you just scooped. Not helpful at all even though it appears to be a popular item.I watched the video for this and thought it was a great idea. My spouse was concerned that it might miss the cup and fling poo everywhere, lol. He was skeptical that this would actually work well. I ordered it after reading reviews and kept my fingers crossed. My spouse was unsure the first time he used it, there is a small learning curve. Once we got the hang of getting the poo in the scoop, it's fantastic! The hole intended to help hold a bag/liner in the larger cup is not quite enough to hold it in place. We just put a wide rubber band around the cup. It holds the liner in place securely but is still easy to remove the bag when you're done. Once you figure out the twist (sort of?) to get what you want in the scoop, gently push on the handle and it goes right into the larger cup. You can pick up A LOT of waste in just a few minutes! (Some people have used a small rake tool to push waste into the scoop, but we found it was not necessary for us.) Take the bag out when you're done, tie it, and throw it in the trash. We don't pick up fresh or very soft waste with it, too messy for us, but this scooper is easily rinsed with a garden hose if it gets dirty.I have no idea why some people have said theirs broke or didn't work. It's not made to take a ton of abuse, but seems sturdy to us even though it is very lightweight. I suspect people were pushing way too hard on the handle, didn't get the large cup attached securely, or were using it wrong. Just practice a few times, it's much easier than you would think. After a couple of uses, my partner loves it too, and so do our backs.UPDATE 5/2022_______________Still the best scooper EVER!!You can use the smaller bags, or plastic grocery bags (double bag since they sometimes have holes). As I said above, we use a wide rubber band to hold the bag, but you could probably tie a knot in the bag after you push it through the opening on the larger cup and it would hold fine. We have a medium size dog (45 lbs.) and pick up a lot of poo. We've had it for a year, and it still works great, is holding up very well, and was so worth the price. Thanks ScoopDog!!!

Best Poop Trebuchet Ever
This was an impulse purchase. I've used everything from a spade shovel to the common "scissors" pooper scooper, and when I saw a poop TREBUCHET I had to get it just because it exists. Much to my glee, the thing actually works extremely well. Do not worry about the poop sailing across the lawn, I've done no less than 300 piles now without a miss, right into the pickle barrel. It's lightweight, but well made. Very easy to carry, place, and activate with ONE HAND... my skinny 8 yr old can operate it no problem with one hand. Assembly is ... none. You just slide the plastic bucket on its groove, and away you go, slingin poo.I recommend also getting a lightweight poop rake to go in the other hand, though. It just makes it easier -- set the cup down, rake the turd in, and fire the trebuchet. It's borderline fun now. Highly recommend this gadget.

Works as advertised.
I was skeptical, but went ahead and took a chance on it. After a few trials, I decided it works pretty darn good for what it is. There is a bit of acquired skill in getting the stuff in the bucket without flinging it away, but once that is figured out, it is much easier than a shovel and a hand-held plastic grocery bag. I use a plastic grocery bag for a bucket liner, and it is easy to extract and toss in the big garbage can after I'm done with collection.

Takes a bit to get the swing of it... but then Awesome for poop scoop.
It is a little awkward at first and you definitely need to consider the direction you are sending the somewhat flying poop. There is an optimal speed of dumping. Too slow - can miss. Too fast can fling. But I have had this now 2 years. I use it daily to scoop between 2 to 5 dogs (25 lbs to 70 lbs) that might be here on any given day. I have used it successfully on all types, sizes, and consistency of poop. Of course frozen poop is always the easiest. :)I find it best when using a larger size poop bags like EarthRated's larger bags. Those give a good overhang. At first I did use a rubber band but found it unnecessary as long as the bag was long enough to fully go to the bottom of the collection bucket and the back is pushed in to the bag holder to keep the front tight.Again I have had this 2 years, it hangs on a shepherds crook in the back yard near the poop can. It is out in the rain, snow, and sun and it shows no wear that has me concerned it is going to break. First scooper to last a year let alone 2 years. However, I would not suggest using this as a cane to support oneself while going around to scoop pop. It is not its purpose and the pressing downward motion is what gets the dog to raise the lower bucket to get poop into the collection bucket.Well done inventor! Both on mechanical design and cute dog head design. One suggestion would be to add something to hang the scooper from. I used cable ties to create a hanging loop. I cable tied the loop right below the grip handle and occasionally have to slide it down and slide the grip handle down.

Broke in less than a month!
Had this for a month and it is already broken it is hard to scoop poop unless you scoop it into the container but even then it is just poorly made. I was super excited to make my son's life easier but nope...

Teenager approves
My teen hates cleaning up after the dog. This tool made it more fun since it's a little challenge, but you don't get your hand as close to the poo

Nope
The media could not be loaded. AwkwardBought this so my senior citizen Dad didn’t need to bend down and scoop poop but it’s not advisable to put weight on the picker. Also, the picker requires specific use and won’t work otherwise. Worked ok on hard poop but not sure this could easily pick up the wet stuff.
