great product
This product was super helpful with rehab after a foot fracture (5th metatarsal, so felt like the ankle). It has a rigid bar on the outside to provide excellent support for walking on uneven surfaces. My ankle took a while to regain strength and this was so helpful. It fit inside my shoe, and was comfortable.

Great product!
I have loose joints and an extreme over pronation deformity on my left ankle. I have severe pain when I walk or stand for long periods of time. I went to Disney World a couple of weeks ago with very little time to prepare. I was panicked about all of the walking. I have custom shoe orthotics but nothing to support my ankle. Two days before leaving I had a lightbulb moment and popped on Amazon to shop for overnight delivery of ankle support braces. I ordered four. This product is the one I chose to take my chances with and keep. It saved me! I walked 15,000-17,000 steps every day. My ankle was stable and it felt so great to be pain free. Normally, my ankle problem leads to a pain on the outer top of my foot and along the collapsed arch up to my ankle bone. That pain feels like blazing hot knives digging into me. And I have a high threshold for pain! I never felt that pain a single time on this trip because of this brace. Woo hoo! It is fully customizable to provide the amount of support you need l where you need it. It is comfortable to wear, the velcro doesn’t catch on your socks or clothing, and it does not interfere with the width of your shoes. Bottom line: I highly recommend this product.

Great to use with Hiking Boots
It is very hard to find an ankle brace that works with mid-high hiking boots (Keen Targhee II). I've need to wear an ankle brace off and on for several years, just when I hike. I have used two different lace up braces but the stiff material and/or the straps that cross over and go under the foot eventually cause foot pain. I have tried at least 4 braces, this Futuro brace is #5. I have been using it for almost 2 months and so far so good. The neoprene is less constrictive but you still have decent lateral ankle support. And it is the cheapest one! Go for it.

Great Brace, Especially at Price Point. Not as Good as Original, Though.
I was diagnosed with a minor ankle sprain (peroneal tendon) and needed a brace that had stabilizers and was easy to put on. The doc wanted to give me this ridiculous lace up thing that would have taken me 30 minutes to take on and off each time. I remembered that I had one of these Futuro braces from probably like 20 years ago (same model). I started using the old one, and it's great. But, you need to wash them (and they do great in the washer--normal wash, air dry), so I needed a backup. So I ordered this one, which looked like the same one. Although it functions the same way, and I like it. It is not nearly as good as the original. The main difference is that the piece that runs along the bottom of your foot was a single piece (no seam) in the original, but this version has a seem that runs down the middle. I haven't found it to be too uncomfortable, but I do notice the difference. And, I can see where it might unravel at some point. I also think the Velcro is scratchier for whatever reason (could just be because it's new). Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. Nonetheless, at an under $20 price point, it's a good deal. I tried a couple other more-expensive ones with various adjustable ties and straps, but none worked as well as this one. It fits well in all my shoes, and I even wear it comfortably with sandals. I honestly forget it's on most of the time. It's even flexible enough to keep on during PT. I have no pain walking in it, and I have no swelling when I take it off. Good buy.

Excellent for playing sports
Second pair I own. I play Padel and I’m very used to sprained ankles so in order to not get injured here and there I prefer using this on both feet so I have more comfort and stabilization. It really works and it doesn’t feel heavy at all

I tried on 15 braces. Not only was this one of the few that worked, but it is by far, the most comfortable!
I believe everyone's experience with braces will be different. Depends on your body type, and what you're looking for. I need support for my ankle and it has to be thin enough to wear with dress shoes for work. Lastly, it has to be comfortable enough to actually wear, or the whole point is moot. Enter the Futuro Sport Deluxe Anke Stabilizer... I went to three local stores and tried on 15 different ankle braces. Out of the 15, only about 3 of them felt like they offered any stability to my ankle, and of the 3, this is only one that was comfortable. I was about to buy it at CVS, but decided to look it up on Amazon to check reviews/pricing. Not only did this have 4.5-5 stars, it was $7 less expensive. I decided I could wait a day and half to save the $7. I've been using my stabilizer for about two weeks now, and I really feel like I made the right decision. The first few days, I developed a couple of bruises from the plastic stabilizers, so I took a day off from wearing it. (Thick socks would likely help, but I was using thin dress socks.) After the bruising went away, this brace is nothing but comfortable now. And most importantly, I can finally feel my ankle healing up after nearly a year of pain. I believe I sprained my ankle and also have achilles damage from doing a mud run last year. I'll continue using this brace until my ankle feels normal again, and at the rate it's healing now, it shouldn't much longer. My only regret with this stabilizer is that I didn't buy it sooner.

You won't even realize that you are running on a ruined ankle.
It's simple and light weight and on first impressions feels cheap like it couldn't help anything. That being said, this bad boy is amazing. I rolled my ankle playing soccer and used duck tape to tape my ankle up. Ordered this that day, got it the next day and was out running like a maniac without feeling any weakness or soreness to the ankle like I hadn't just wrecked it the day before. Thing is rad.
