Solor Fountain is Awesome
I really love this little fountain. It works perfectly in my pet trough, looks pretty, and I appreciate that it doesn’t need any batteries. I’ve had it for quite a while now and it’s still going strong. And I was able to put it together in a minute. Just one thing, it needs the sun in order to operate.

Great for my 125 gallon pond
This is the second one I had to buy. The first one lasted for a few months and then stopped working. I did return it and they refunded me and then I bought it again. It works really well as long as it has direct sun and my fish really love it. It's easy to set up and I love the fact that it is solar and no electricity needed

Nice Fountain Addition - Update Stopped Working - or Works Occasionally
UPDATE 2: Well, it is working again so it is saved from its early death. Very intermittent though. If it stops when shade comes over it, it may not start again when the sun returns so I occasionally have to manually try and spin the pump propeller to get it going again. I still will look for another one, but just wanted to say, with determination, I was able to get it going again. UPDATE: Started out good but unfortunately, like others said, after about 45 days it completely stopped working, full sun or not. I cleaned everything multiple times and tried to get the pump to work again but nothing. It is in FULL sun and nothing. It was good for the 45 days but now it is going in the garbage. No way to open up the solar connection to the pump. So sad. Really wanted it to last. Will have to look for a better one that will last. Works great on a sunny day. There is no adjustment for water spray height, so I added some rocks to the panel to block some of the solar area to tone down the fountain spray a bit to keep it in the bird bath. On windy days, however, the water from the spray blows out and the bird bath empties quickly so I have to keep filling it up. I may have to find a larger pot to use this in so I don’t lose water. I do like that there are rods around the base so that it stays centered which does help some to keep water in. Definitely a lovely addition to my garden.

Fabulous!
These little solar fountains are SOOO AWESOME! Right out of the package they start working (in sunlight of course!) They have several different options for water spouting....and they last for a really long time! I have one from three years ago that still works!

Doesn't work well
I've had this solar fountain water pump since last year. It worked OK at first I mean it does have to be in direct sunlight before it will work well. I probably used it maybe four or five months last year. It's barely working now. I'm not sure what's wrong with it. We have hard water and that's why you see the white scale on the top. I have cleaned it and I'm going to try to clean it again but so far it doesn't seem to make any difference. The solar charge needs to produce a better flow. I've a video to show what I'm referring to.

A+ Bought mine in July 2022!!
I live in the Coachella Valley. Summers here are brutal with temps from 110+ on average. The picture window where the fountain sits in front of gets the full brunt of the sun for most of the day here. But this little fountain has survived one hellish summer so far and then some! (If my fountain could talk! 🤔😆) It is still running much to the delight of my kitty who loves to study it while she's waiting for a lizard, bunny or a bird to pop by. I placed my fountain outside in a somewhat shallow plastic recepticle that I got at the 99¢ store. Nothing fancy. So here are some longevity tips that work for me and will probably work for you. Keep plenty of pure water in your recepticle. Be sure to keep an eye on it during the day to make sure the water stays at an optimum level. Water levels go down because of evaporation and water being splashed either by the action of the fountain or wildlife playing in it. I just keep a hose or water container close by to quickly refill it. Clean the motor periodically depending on use. Keep your recepticle clean. Can't stress that enough. That means scrub it clean bcuz of slime/dirt buildup. If you've placed the fountain in a birdbath, you also need to scrub out the dirt and slime impurities often. Don't neglect this important step because it totally helps with the overall function of your solar fountain. Also clean your device. I can't stress that enough either. I take a power nozzle and spray the entire underside of it and gently swipe off any slime or dirt with your fingers to get around and under the tubes and motor housing on the underside.. And Yes!! You can power nozzle the motor. It blows out dirt and slime!! I do it all the time. I also do a periodic vinegar cleanse to it. Fill your recepticle with water. Stir in approx 1/4 cup per gallon of water. Use basic plain vinegar (acv, white. Do NOT use any other kind of vinegar) put your cleaned fountain in the water and let it run in the sunshine for 2 days. Maybe longer if you get less full sunshine. After 2+ days, dump the vinegar water, rinse device and power wash the underside again as little round gel like formations may have grown underneath, then add clean water again, add the device and set it in the sun again. It will be like new. The vinegar clears out scum and calcium buildup inside the device which causes a flow reduction or just stops working altogether. I do this once/mo usually or when I see my fountain struggling to work. There are no switches or controls. The solar motor is all it needs. And with some love and attention it will live a long time. I love my fountain. But I bought it for my indoor kitty and I think think she loves it more than me 😂

Works immediately once it’s out in the sun and is very cute
This is adorable, but if you don’t have a deep & wide enough birdbath, you need to just put it on bubbler mode or it will spray all the water outside of the birdbath

Hard to beat the price
I placed it in the bird bath and it started working immediately, even though the sky was cloudy. It works by pulsating the water spray every few seconds. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to work, but if so then I think maybe it is to help keep the pump from working too hard. My guess is that this pump will go out in just a few months, but even so it is still fun to watch it while its working. My birdbath is 12” in diameter, so the 6” size of the solar panel is perfect. **** UPDATE **** the pump now works steady without any pulsating. Maybe it just needed more sunlight. **** UPDATE #2 **** On June 27 the pump finally quit. It had been working every day for like 14 hours.

Great bird bath fountain
Easy to put together and it works great. My grandkids wondered why the fountain stopped when they got close to it. I had to explain that they were creating a shadow and it only works when the sun is shining on it.

Full sun only!
Works for what you get! Definitely need to be in full sun (see picture with shade from hand slowing it down) but works great once in it. I love the choices of nozzles too to work for what we need. Absolutely would recommend. Can’t comment on durability as I just got it but so far so good! There’s straws that come off the sides to stabilize it in the middle which is perfect too. Birds are loving it for sure!
