Love them! If you have nystagmus this is great to help you keep your place while reading. Eliminates frustration! I love that it is lighted and portable. It is the right magnification for me im 55years old. The battery compartment could use improvement but all of these products have the same issue. Regardless I refuse to read without it. It is so helpful.

I like that it's small enough to handle with one hand. I like the line printed on it. But it's too light and the color should have been black, not yellow. I had to go over it with a dark marker. The fact that it has a light makes it handy to read in dim areas . I like that it has a handle to hold and not use the lens itself. For the price, it's not bad as a gift for someone that can't read small print on occasions. To read pages, well, that becomes uncomfortable after a while.

What a waste of money this was!! If I could have given it negative stars I certainly would have, just for the waiting, the disappointment & the fact that I still don’t have a line magnifier. First at, the battery compartment was so hard to get into I had to pry it open with several household items. A sharp scissors finally worked. When I actually tried it I was even more disappointed. The magnification was so distorted I could hardly read the material I was trying to read more comfortably. The yellow highlighting bar didn’t help at all because it had its own level of distortion. This was a total waste of money. More expensive isn’t always better. I would return it, but I’m elderly and can’t get out to a UPS store. Also - I wasn’t expecting a problem with such a straightforward item so I destroyed the packaging. Save your money when it comes to this!

I use this for highlighting my cross stitch patterns. It's really good. I was looking for a magnifier that was magnetic and lighted. So I made my own as pictured. Maybe companies will eventually come out with one but until then this works fantastic! * UPDATE: The on off button has already broken.

Okay, I’ve had cataract surgery and only needed mild reading glasses afterward. But there are materials that are part of my job that even the young eyes strain to see. This is perfect and helps with magnification, extra light and keeping you on the right line. I love it.

First, the battery case area was glued shut. When seal was finally broken and batteries were put in, nothing lights up. Don’t waste your money on this. UPDATED: I returned for replacement and the new one does work. Is not particularly sturdy. Not sure how long it will last.

I purchased this item for a friend who is going blind. The extra light is helping her read her Bible and knitting patterns! I'm glad I got it for her.

Junky plastic, distorted magnification.. don't bother. I'm returning it
