Bondi Sands Aero Self Tanning Foam, 7.61 Fl Oz

Update: 1. Applying a second layer 30 mins later does achieve a dark tan. 2. For me, it faded nicely except for on my wrists and toes. Nothing crazy and not a single person ever mentioned they noticed it. But I knew it was happening. Lol I had 2 patches on my thighs that held on to color but I also didnt exfoliate my thighs b4 I applied the product originally so that may be why that happened. 3. It does dry quickly but my skin felt a little tacky afterwards. I just applied Bondi Sands Pure Gradual tanner and I will say that it dried much quicker AND my skin feels so soft and moisturized. I decided to try the gradual tanner bc this product requires you to wear the product for 6 hrs. I need a tanner I can apply and then leave for work and not look like I'm turning into the hulk. Lol With that said, I get a way darker tan with this product vs the Pure Gradula Tanner. All in all, I still recommend this product. Overall, it does what it claims it will do. The color was beautiful. The fade, in general, was nice with minimal patching. 8/10 recommend it. .............................. I'm new to the self tanning world so I did a lot of research and watched a lot of reviews as well as a lot of tips and tricks to prevent streaking and patching. With that said, this being my first time using not only this product, but a self tanner in general, I AM AMAZED! I wore it for 3 hrs on my face and a full 18.5 hrs (while I was at work). Scent: Drfinitely coconut. After an hour, it smelled a little odd, but nothing horrendous. That faded after wearing it for about 3 hrs or so. Consistency: thin, foam, easy to apply... however it does dry rather quickly so I suggest working in small sections. Color: on application, it definitely, DEFINITELY has a green hue and you can definitely tell where you have put the product. That green hue faded over the first 4.5 hrs and I was able to go to work with it on. This product is supposed to be ultra dark. However, with one application, you probably wont get that deep, dark color that I know many girls like for the summer. But the product does say that if you want that deep dark color, you can apply a second coat after 30 mins of your first application. With that said, one application did achieve a beautiful, dark, sunkissed color to my skin. Transfer: it does transfer onto fabrics a little, but nothing so major that I was alarmed by it.

i am (sort of) new to fake tan. i am 23 and used to use self tanner my freshman year of high school, so almost 10 years ago. it was patchy, orange and super hard to apply but man, i didn’t know self tanner advanced this much since then! i am armenian with VERY fair/light skin with pink undertones. my breaking point with tanning outdoors was getting all dressed up in a bikini, going to the pool to tan, only to leave in 20 minutes because i would burn and it would take all summer for me to get a slight tan just for it to fade in the winter. on top of that, i develop freckles, which everyone knows is the first sign that i could end up with skin cancer at some point in my life if i keep tanning outdoors. also, AGING lol! i thought about going back to self tan but i just didnt want to be orange and deal with streaks although i apply it perfectly(i was using jergens back then). let me tell you- i used bondi sands aero ultra dark with their mit. i showered, exfoliated with an exfoliating mit and sugar scrub, shaved and lotioned my dry spots (elbows, knees, ankles and neck) and waited about an hour for my pores to close to apply. i started with my inner arm working outwards to my elbow, did that side of my chest, shoulders and neck, switched to the other arm then did my shin area working up to my thighs and bun (so my stomach doesn’t crease on my thighs) and then did my fingers and toes with a tanning brush on amazon. it smells coconut and like i’m at a beach. i waited about 30 minutes to put clothes on(it was still a little tacky but ehh i didn’t care because it looked dry and felt like it was clinging to my skin) IT DOES APPLY GREEN- that’s because it develops with an olive undertone. the only thing with this tan is it isn’t the type of tan you can put on and walk outside with unless you don’t mind looking green haha. i just did it at 8 pm and washed it off 7 am when i woke up. i slept with silk PJS (long sleeve black ones from amazon) and man! i rinsed off this morning with lukewarm water and slightly BARELY glazing my hand over parts i tanned and IM LEFT WITH THE PERFECT, OLIVE TONE TAN!! i wish all of u amazon besties could see it in real life, it looks so damn good and darker in real life. it looks like i went tanning for a year straight. it looks so freakin natural!!! i am so excited. i have worn it for 6 days and since i’m so fair, it looks freshly applied and barely faded. i plan to reapply every week! it fades evenly and not patchy! just make sure you moisturize after your shower and in the morning. also, there were a couple spots i applied a little streaky (my fault because it was my first time in forever self tanning) and this tan is SO forgiving. when i showered, it all evened out and looks flawless. also, my boyfriend helped me with my back because i have a deeper arch in my back and a deep spine haha i tried to get it myself but was struggling. i am so happy i found something that works, now brb i gotta buy new makeup to match my tan lol!!

Guys. I was just like many of you. I applied this and immediately had a HEART ATTACK because it made me look GREEN and GRAY. I seriously looked like drake when Megan gave him dermatameculitis in drake & Josh. But I read all the reviews and saw mixed things: some people saying their tans turned brown and the green washed off in the shower, some saying green means the tanner went bad, and some saying they stayed green post shower. Obviously I was terrified but I decided to trust the process. THANK GOODNESS I DID. I went from looking like shrek to looking VERY natural. If anything, this is likely not anyone’s definition of “ultra dark” but when my alternative was looking like I had the plague, I am VERY HAPPY with the results! Wasn’t super easy to spread because it dries so quickly, but surprisingly it developed very evenly, even on hands and feet. So it all worked out. Will keep using!

The only issue I have is that this product doesn't last long at all. My legs and forearms last longer than the rest of my body, about 7 days but my neck, chest, stomach, upper back, and upper arms will start coming off in 3-4 days. When it comes off, it's not even like it fades, u see puzzle piece patches with harsh lines all over. Besides that, overall it's a great product. The packaging, the price, the smell, it's thickness, the color, the application make it worth it. I usually just use this the night before I go to the beach/pool. Keeping up with this product every day would seem like a hassle to me.

I’ve tried a lot of self-tanners, but the Bondi Sands Aero Self Tanning Foam is hands-down my favorite. It goes on super smooth and dries fast—no sticky feeling or streaks. The color develops evenly and gives that perfect golden, beachy glow (not orange at all). I also love that it has a light coconut scent instead of the usual self-tan smell.

This is my favorite brand of self tanner - the smell is minimal, the Aero version is way less sticky and it’s easy to apply. However this is the second time the nozzle has arrived completely or partially detached. I’m going to switch to purchasing straight from the Bondi Sands website in the hopes that their bottles don’t arrive broken.

I have tried many self tanners looking for the perfect one. I always find there are things I have to Stella for with them whether it be the price, the color, and especially the scent. One of my biggest issues with self tanner is the way it smells after application. A lot of them I have found smell good upon application, but after a couple hours have that nasty fake tan smell. Let me just tell you, this is not the case with this self tanner! Pros: The color has a green based hue, which is perfect for an olive skin tone. If does not go on orange like other self tanners. Not as expensive as other self tanners I have bought. Smells amazing and has NO weird smell after a couple hours. Cons: a little bit harder to spread than other self tanners I’ve bought, but not by any means extremely difficult. Just takes a little extra time to rub in; however, definitely not a reason to NOT buy it. Ultra dark wasn’t as dark as other self tanners I’ve used, but I can live with that because I can always layer it to achieve a darker tan. All in all this is my favorite self tanner!

The only thing good about this was that it does dry fast & doesn't leave u tacky. However it isn't dark at all & has a grayish color. I just ended up looking dirty, not tan. Its also very hard to apply around ankles & on hands even with a makeup brush

Firstly, I never write reviews really but this deserves one I've been a qualified spray tan technician for 12 years and I've always used Sienna which is the UKs number one. I literally have been spray tanning myself weekly for 12 years. I have tried every product on the market believe me. I'm trying to move away from spray tanning myself as it's a pain in the bum. I cannot recommend this tan enough. I'm so impressed with it. Its longevity, the ease of application, the colour.... I realise people are saying it goes on green but this is normal for a tan that is olive toned. It is far more natural and once you wash it off it looks amazing and it actually lasts! The alternative is a terracotta kind of tone which is far less natural and the fade offish very obvious. I honestly can't recommend this product enough For the record I am Irish and incredibly fair.

I have used different versions of this for years. I still love it, this one seems to give a bit of colour unless it's left on the body for more than 8 hours. Pay attention to the application instructions, use a mit or your hands and apply tanner in long up/down sweeping motions using a light/medium pressure until it's evenly blended. Let ypur akin dry down before dressing. Be sure NOT to shower using soap/sponge or rag when you rinse off the first time. Those things will cause streaks and uneven colour. Simply rinse it off and pat your skin dry. Apply moisturizer or another application of tanning foam for a deeper result. This is the tanning foam I always recommend to people who are not super experienced with self tanning, as the tint makes it VERY easy to apply evenly. Be sure to wash your hands with soap to remove any tanner from your palms.

I’ve been using fake tan for twenty years but this is a game changer. Only need to use once a week and creates a deep flawless tan. Love
