This cream lists the following on its container: purified NZ spring water, Capric/caprylic triglyceride, Lanolin, glycerin stearate, propylene glycol, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, shea butter, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, sorbic acid, amino methyl phenol, dehydoacetic acid, benzyl alcohol, fragrance, carbomer, curcuma longa & ethanol, rosemary extract.

Is this comparable to hydrous lanolin?

Not really. Hydrous Lanolin (which we have if you are interested) is just lanolin, water, and an emulsifier. This cream, in addition to lanolin, has butters and oils for a complete moisturizing formula.

It is made in New Zealand and lanolin is the third ingredient. Lanolin is wonderful for dry skin. The sheep farmers in New Zealand have amazingly soft hands because of the lanolin on the wool of the sheep. Also, Koru Naturals is a great company with excellent customer service. Hope you give this product a try.

Could this be mixed with coconut oil in a mixer, to make a homemade body cream?

No, this is an emulsion, so more oil would result in separation.
