USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter, USB Sound Card, to Headphone Jack Adapter with 3.5mm Aux Stereo Converter for PS4/PS5/PC/Laptop,with Built-in Chip.Plug and Play

The recently released Raspberry Pi 5 SBC was redesigned with no analog audio out port. It uses Bluetooth for audio just fine but my needs required this device to add analog audio output to my setup. Plugged it in and Raspberry Pi OS picked it up with no issues whatsoever. Works with a 3.5mm TRS type connection to my speakers even though the description says TRRS only. I'm not using a microphone which would require a TRRS type connection.

My Laptop mic jack stopped working and I did not own headphones with a usb but I had 2 or 3 headphones that had a 3.5mm jack. So instead of buying a new headset booted for this. Best decision ever. U just plug it in after about 20secs or so (computer was recognizing the harware) it was ready to use. No adjustment or tinkering needed.

Bought my husband an All in One computer and it did not have a port for headphones. Ordered this, hooked it up in less then a minute. Sound quality was great, however so loud I had to reduce the master volume on the computer. Would highly recommend.

Worked for near daily usage for about 19 months. Now, the connections, both in the USB outlet and where the headphone plugs in are loose and the sound comes and goes. I don't regret buying, but am going to try another brand this time. It worked for a while, but I wish it worked longer.

I've used this a couple of times now. It works flawlessly. I have a pair of earbuds with a microphone I plug into it. As soon as I plugged the USB end into a port on the computer, it was recognized and configured to work. I unplug it when not in use then reinsert it when needed. I use it with a new Logitech webcam. Audio and video both work great. I haven't used it for phone calls yet, but I'm confident it will work fine for that also.

If you care at all about sound quality, try another brand. This dropped the sound quality considerably compared to plugging the speakers directly into the motherboard's audio input. Also, it sits very loosely in the slot. Doesn't take much to make it pop out. Otherwise, it's fine.

Got this because I'm working form home using a old laptop our IT Dept. gave me to use that has a separate mic and headphone plugs. I don't use this for anything else than to use it as a phone. I don't know anything about these jacks, but the IT guy told me that I need a jack like the picture to make it work. Wish I bought it sooner, bending over the laptop and shouting into it for almost 1.5 months was stupid.

plug and play, just like you would expect. my old computer wont take my mic/headphone combo device, and this little thing fixed my problem, covid19 problems. sound and microphone quality are excellent through this device.
