It works!!!
I iron all kinds of albs and priest vestments which are made of materials that you have to iron hot and lots of steam to have nice creases . I had a Rowenta professional iron that lasted me over 20 years. However I did not allow anyone else to use my iron in my studio, one good reason ? anything lasts longer when one person uses it. So, I found myself having to replace my iron the old and faithful stopped working . I was trying to be frugal and not spend over $150 for another iron since there are so many out there. I did purchase five not all at the same time all different brands and they were horrible so I bit the bullet and I got another Rowenta. this particular model wasnโt the most expensive but it had everything that I needed. I particularly do not like the automatic shut off. I guess ill have to deal with that. Everything else is really good. Easy to use. Water does not drip and or leak out all over the items being ironed. Thats another pet peeve of mine. The tank does not last as long as I need it too, nothing I cant get use to. Over all itโs a good iron. Clean, glides smoothly over fabrics . Love the narrow front for small corners that never get ironed . I donโt like the electronic buttons . However , I will adjust. The iron Gets nice and hot, plenty of bursts of steam when you need itโฆ i loved my older version. Im hoping this one , in this day an age will last just as long .

Excellent product, excellent warranty
I purchased the Rowenta Steam Station to replace an earlier version because it has an excellent shot of steam, it holds a lot of water and because it stays on for 30 minutes before the auto shut off kicks in. This is important for sewers. It does go on standby after 8 minutes, but quickly revives itself with a push of a button. It is important to clean the calcium collector frequently if you have hard water--which is how I ruined the earlier one. After five months, the shot of steam stopped working consistently. I contacted the warranty department by email and after several emails verifying my purchase, I was issued a case number. I then called the warranty department with the case number and they emailed a UPS prepaid label to me. I packed it up and sent it to a repair shop on a Monday and received a repaired iron back about a week and a half later. I was shocked it took so little time. The iron works perfectly again. Very pleased with this product and the prompt repair.

Amazing iron cuts through creases and makes ironing fun again.
I learned to iron as a boy. My mother had a serious car accident when I was in my early teens, and I needed to take over a bunch of domestic aspects of running our home. At the time, I didn't enjoy ironing, but I found it calming. While I can send my clothes to a laundry service, I enjoy the ritual of ironing on Sunday afternoons in preparation for the week. Since ironing needs to please and calm me, having the right equipment is paramount. This Rowenta iron is the right equipment for getting my clothes nicely smooth and creased. The quality of my ironing, in turn, creates enormous satisfaction as I see the week ahead's perfectly ironed shirts and trousers on the rack. The blast of steam shooting from the soleplate is indeed powerful; the creases you don't need do not stand a chance. Filling and unfilling water are simple, and the iron is ready to use from cold to steaming in about two and a half minutes. The cable is very long, enabling me to place the ironing board anywhere in the room I need. For storage, I put Velcro cable ties around the power cable when it is not in use, and the pipe between the tank and the iron fits into an organizer when not in use. Overall, this is a terrific iron. I have used it a lot, and it continues to work perfectly. I did need to clean off hardened starch residue with the Rowenta soleplate cleaner, which I reviewed separately; that process was easy and worked flawlessly. I pair this Rowenta iron with a large Brabantia Size C ironing board. A large ironing board is faster and more satisfying. Amazon sells a selection of original Brabantia covers in fun designs. This Rowenta iron is highly recommended.

Iron good when working, guarantee terrible
The product itself is good and I mainly bought it to be lightweight. It is the guarantee that is terrible. I am a senior citizen and do not go all over. I paid $300 for this iron so itโs the only iron I have. The iron before a year old starting leaking and the way the cord is designed little holes came on the top of the cord. I called assuming they would take care of it quacking. Iโm told I have to box this and take it 2 ups, than wait for a minimum of 3 weeks for them to look at and repair and send it back. Soโฆ. in the meantime what do you do for an iron! This is crazy and I hate to think how long I will wait if they canโt find a part. I just think a $300 iron should not have an problems in a years time and a customer should not have to wait until they get to it! Beware! Here is a follow up, I finally got my iron back from service. It came back all white all you it which took me an hour to clean up. Now when I go to iron white sand and little hard stones come out of the iron. I called customer service and they tell me they want me again to package this thing and send it back for repair. They were suppose to repair it not destroy it! Do you know how hard it is for a senior citizen to get this all together and get to the post office with it, not to say the only one making money off the deal is ups. What kind of service is this. The iron is great as long as you donโt have a problem, than forget it! They donโt know what service is. Go buy an iron that is good and backs their product up! Beware with Rowena.

This iron is amazing
This is an amazing iron. I am a quilter and when you quilt, you iron, iron, iron. This gives off lots of steam and makes the job so much easier. I would highly recommend.

Low water light problem
Update: We experienced the same problem that I mentioned below. I re-soldered the pieces to the tank two more times, but it lasted for a couple weeks. I finally tried using J-B Weld Epoxy (8265S) to cover two sensors, hoping to permanently attach the sensors to the tank. A month later it detached. I will try to wrap a wire around the tank, see if it holds. The Steam iron makes ironing easy and "fun" according to my wife. However we are having this problem lately with the low light sensor. After a few minutes following turning it on, the low water light comes on blinking and you can no longer use the unit. There are two obvious reasons, one : there is no water, two: the blue water tank was not placed correctly. But what if the lights stays on even after you filled the blue tank and placed firmly? At some point the light comes flushing as soon as you plugged in and turn the unit on, nothing you can do makes the light go away. After searching online and reading all related post, I couldn't find a satisfying answer. The nearest Rowenta service center being 2 hours away and we being beyond the warranty period, I took the back side of the steamer out, removing 5 "star" screws. Initially it didn't look like something I could fix. But then I noticed two pieces detached from steam tank, dangling freely. They are connected to the buttons on the back, the ones for the low water and calc. So, I soldered them in place and it solved the problem! (My first soldering experience,by the way) It was a lousy job from Rowenta attaching those wires loosely. The product manual suggests filling up the steam tank every now and then, and shake it up to clean up any residual deposits. I guess the wires came loose when it was shaken. Anyway this is to help understand what might be wrong with your unit; not a recommendation to disassemble the unit by yourself, especially if you are still under warranty.

Disappointed in quality of the product even though I loved the iron's performance.
This Rowenta Steam Station was great until this week, Jan 25, when it would no longer produce steam because the handle button for steam broke. It still heats up like an iron but without steam. This is the second Rowenta Steam Station I have owed. The first one lasted 10 years. This one lasted almost 4 years. I took extremely good care of it because I expected it to last me the rest of my life as I am now 82 years old. I still iron everything.

I am stopped working after a week
This is the 2nd iron i have received and they both worked for about a week and then have stopped working altogether so I have had to send them both back. I am not very happy with this.

Received defective item.
The smoke is coming out of the boiler. Will never order this brand again. The good reviews is only from USA customers, whatever they send to UAE is different quality cause other people here weren't happy either. Its a shame I didn't notice that before I placed the order

Great product - slow to heat up and small tank
Excellent iron but takes 10 minutes to heat up. Small iron surface, but easy to control. It would be nice if the tank had a 2 litre capacity. Handles about 4 - 5 shirts before tank empties.

Menos Tiempo y Efuerzo!
