Lion Brand Yarn Wool-Ease Hand Dyed Yarn, Cosmopolitan

Loved the colors, the feel of the yarn. However, you have to wind the yarn and boy did it get tangled. It was a mess. I wanted to chuck it but my friend git it untangled. I put the project to the back burner so don’t honestly know how it looks knitted up. The blue and gold color with brown is very nice. May give more stars once I use it. It was probably me but when you undo the yarn if the middle falls out then you will have tangles. .

Given the worldwide quarantine, I took a gamble on this yarn. Unfortunately, I am a very tactile person. I only like the softest yarns. The reviews said this yarn was soft. It is softer than Red Heart, but that is as complimentary as I can be.Additionally, this yarn is very stiff. I tried three different patterns before I gave up. On each item, the fabric resembled a thick canvas with very little give. Very unpleasant.

I made slipper socks out of Peanut Butter & Jelly. The yarn becomes softer with knitting but washes up even better and it is skin friendly. NO shrinkage with washing, making this awesome fiber. I came back for more and bought Salted Caramel for a loose tunic sweater to wear over a boring tan linen top. It's affordable, dynamic, easy-care and practical. I also bought a third color but haven't decided yet what to make. Can't wait to see if they add more colors to this line.

I ordered this wall yarn as a project accompaniment to make homemade dryer balls. Which is something I have done quite often in the past. Although they are listed as wool, they are in fact not wool. And that was very disappointing. Beautiful yarn but not wool in any capacity...

Beautiful colors, but this yarn is made of acrylic, not wool. It looks too much like acrylic for me to use, but if the fiber content doesn’t bother you, it’s a nice option.

Please do not waste your money. As an avid crocheter I go through many different types of yarn. This is by far the worst yarn I have ever purchased. It came with multiple knots and ties where they “pieced” together the yarn. I can’t even use it to make anything!

Love the color and the feel of this yarn!
