Great value, hard to find
If you wonder, this is the same kit than Grohe 37092000 Starlight Chrome Valves and Diverter, except for an extra copper tube extension, in case your valve needs it because it is a center bowl configuration with a side inlet. Also, don’t forget to add the small plastic cone in the inlet to reduce the pressure to the valve. If you don’t do it, it work fine but you will wonder why it tends to slightly leaks to the bowl. Just too much pressure going thru the valve to close tightly. That is why. Hope this helps because this is what I had to learn the hard way. No much instructions on line left for such legacy system.

Valve worked well; Easy to install
The valve worked well and was easy to install. No problems in 2 years. Someone gave it only 1 star and warned to watch the price. I agree some of the prices are much higher at some vendors than others. However, that's a shopping issue, not a report on the valve itself. The valve is a good product wherever you purchase it. The diaphragms on the valve are the usual problem. They are easy to replace but sometimes difficult to find at a fair price. You can replace the diaphragm without getting the entire value, which usually fixes the problem.

Seven year wonder...
This last unit was a bear install and I had to take apart the inlet valve to stop a leak after installation. The shaft had to be cut because it was too long for the unit. This was the first time I had a problem with a valve, previous replacements (3) in 20 years were straightforward. Not the easiest design to work with, but there are not many top-feed basins so there is little by way of competition.
