I needed a new face wash and was looking for something that feels luxurious and a treat for my skin. I am already a fan of Himalayan Naturals toothpaste, so I was happy to see this face wash come up here during my Amazon search. After carefully reading the reviews for it, I liked what folks had to say about its moisturizing qualities - and I agree, it just makes the skin feel moisturized without being greasy. No more tight-as-a-drum discomfort afterwards. The fragrance is natural and rather woodsy/spicy - someone compared it to Barbasol shaving cream fragrance and I agree. I happen to really like that and was expecting that, so it’s a plus from me. After using it now for a few weeks, here’s some more information, hope you find it helpful: first, I only have to use about a pea-sized amount for full bubbly lather to wash my whole face and neck area. Any more than that and I’m rinsing for an eternity. So I can see this bottle lasting about 3,000 years, haha. It does rinse clean, but if you happen to accidentally get any of the lather or bubbles in your mouth or nose, yuck. So less is more when dispensing from the bottle. Second, the bottle’s snap-shut lid sometimes doesn’t close all the way - just take that extra second to make sure it’s snapped shut. Third, it does a nice job of removing my makeup. I call it my yoga class in a bottle - whenever I use it, it feels just as nurturing and special as time on my yoga mat. I will always have a bottle of this in my skincare collection from now on.

I've been using Himalaya Neem and Turmeric face wash for about 8 months now in conjunction with a few other face care/makeup products: Skin 79 BB Cream, Thayer's Rose witch hazel and My Beauty Diary face masks. I list them because I think they have all played a part in the visible and textural improvement of my skin, so I don't want to make it sound like this is the ONLY product which has done so. However, as a face wash it is now a must-have item for me. I am only just coming out of my teen years, which were plagued with pretty bad (but not horrible) acne, plus skin that was both dry/flaky and oily. Although I left my teens behind I was not able to leave my bad skin behind, and eventually became convinced that I would become one of those unfortunate people who have both acne AND wrinkles. Fortunately I decided to make a small investment in some new face care products (listed above), and in the past few months my skin has cleared up amazingly. Previously, and for most of my life, I used St. Ive's Apricot Scrub followed by a moisturizer. The scrub provided my skin with much-needed exfoliation, but also dried it out, hence the moisturizer -- which, oil-free or not, ultimately contributed to the oiliness of my skin. Which brings me to Himalaya's product -- it makes my skin feel much cleaner than the St. Ive's and also does not dry it out. After washing I wipe my face with a cotton ball dipped in Thayer's. This makes my skin feel fresh and also exfoliates and moisturizes it. When I need extra exfoliation I use a soft toothbrush while washing my face. This face wash also smells nice (to me anyway!) and lasts quite a long time -- you only need a pea-sized amount. I do still break out occasionally, but it's not nearly as bad as before and overall my skin is much clearer, brighter and softer.One thing -- I make sure to take my time rubbing it in before I rinse it off (at least 1 minute) so the ingredients have enough time to do their work.

Hard for me to describe... First let me say I'm 43 yrs old and not a beauty product hound. I have very oily skin at my T zone and so far I've never been plagued by ance, just the normal pimples and blackheads. But the oil, oh the never ending oil. So far it washes clean like soap does and haven't noticed (yet) any changes in blemishes and such. But the smell!!! Omg the smell! I read the reviews and people said it's not bad...ah yeah okay get your nose checked. The smell almost reminds me of heavily chemicaled cheap plastic (but the product itself doesnt seem to be cheap).This is no where near "pretty". My husband went to give me a kiss a few minutes after I washed my face and jumped back from me as if I bit him. It was the smell and mind you that I had no other products on (never wear makeup etc). I let my neighbors smell it and they both freaked out in disbelief that I would actually put it on my skin. The pro I noticed with the product is that a little goes a long way and lathers very well. Oh and it hasn't dried my skin out anywhere on my face. Would I buy it again? Yes, if it smelled better, a lot better! I wish I had better info to relay to the person reading this that has never tried it. It doesn't hurt to try it and it doesn't seem to be junk.....just different from flower smelling stuff.

I Love this face wash!! I can't begin to describe how happy I am that I have discovered this! Forever I have had combo skin, oily in T zone yet dry by my nose and eyes- just awful. I have tried Mario Badescu which I did really like, although when I got pregnant my skin became even worst with dryness and breakouts!!! I bought a face wash that was very expensive I wont list the name.. and it didn't do half the job as this facewash does!! This product removes makeup better than any other facewash I have ever had. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated not tight and dry. The smell is very clean, it foams up and feels great! My skin has never looked better and the dry patches are gone-woohoo!! My oily areas are controlled and my skin is very even and moisturized. I have had several compliments on my skin since I have started using this product, everyone is like .. oh your pregnancy glow- and i'm thinking it's the facewash !! Thank you for this product! <3
