It was highly reviewed, so I purchased it. I loved the convenience of the stick for to-go or travel use, but it's a tad unnecessary for every day use. I use a konjac sponge with cleansers to gently exfoliate and when using it with this product, I applied the stick directly to my face and then used the konjac. At first application I felt tingling. Some products tingle, but feel fine afterwards in my experience, leaving no evidence of irritation. I then used the konjac and the tingling increased, as I assumed it would. I only used the konjac for maybe 20 seconds with barely any pressure. By the time I went to rinse, the burning started. I gently towel dried my face and saw that I was left with a red face and the burning was still apparently. I continued with my usual regimine of Adapalene gel 0.1% and Cosrx Snail 92 moisturizer and the irritation was still there. I probably should've skipped the Adapalene as it could irritate my skin further, but didn't think about it until I saw the damage days later.I noticed on my lower cheeks, chin, and around my mouth I could not moisturize enough. I tried grapeseed and sweet almond oil after my usually moisturizer didn't seem like enough, as well as Cerave Moisture Cream. Nothing worked. I only used the Miracle Rose Cleanser once and it destroyed the moisture barrier of my skin. One day at the end of the day at work I looked in the mirror and noticed a lot of skin flakes around my mouth area that I didn't see that morning. Embarrassed, I went to the bathroom to try to scrub them off. It looked so awful I was willing to harshly removed the skin flakes with physical exfoliation with a rough bathroom paper towel. I was left red, but flakeless, and I immediately slathered myself in Cerave. Now, it's a week after use, and I'm still trying to regain my moisture barrier that was lost due to this product.I would say I have slightly sensitive skin and I've made a spreadsheet of everything I use on my face, whether or not I have any irritation, and then ingredients. There are a few sunscreens that have made me itch and I'm trying to narrow down ingredients that cause any sort of irritation in the form of itching, tingling, redness, burning, and breakouts. My face wasn't currently irritated when I used this and it was the only new item I was testing, so I know it was the sole culprit. I'm not sure which ingredient(s) are responsible for the reaction I had to the product, but hopefully my spreadsheet will help me narrow that down.I gave the product 2 stars because I appreciate the convenience of the stick, the packaging, scent, and large visible rose pedals in the product. I know it's a great product for many people, which is why it is rated so high. Unfortunately for me, I am not someone who had a great experience with this product.

I love this cleanser and keep going back to it. My third one just came in today, and I bought one for my sister-in-law for Christmas. I'm normally very sensitive to cleansers, oils, fragrances, and cosmetics. This is the only cleanser that doesn't make my face itchy or blotchy. It also has such great (and few) ingredients and is so gentle on my skin. I'm not a fan of fragrances in general, but this one has a light, luxurious, rosy smell that's divine. And it cleanses very well.I use this 1-3x daily, depending on how oily my face is when I get up in the morning, if I've overslept, or if I've worn makeup that day. One cleansing stick lasts about half a year for me. Some people use this as a "second cleanser," after using a cleansing oil. However, I noticed that it's excellent at taking off all make up (except my Dolly Wink mascara. Nothing seems to effectively remove that). It can be used as a first AND second cleanser. It foams up well (and it's so luxurious!!!) and I realized that the kind of foam I get depends on how oily/makeup-y my face is. When I wear foundation, the foam emulsifies it and the foam is similar to a thin mousse. When I reapply it as a second cleanser (a single swipe down the forehead, nose, and chin, and each of my cheeks), it gets surprisingly bubbly, which I LOVE. I actually look forward to cleaning up towards bedtime, and I give it credit for how well I've been sticking to my cleansing regimen. The packaging also makes it travel friendly and easy to clean and use. The product does sting when it gets in my eyes, but it's avoidable and easy to rinse out.The ONE thing is, it can get a BIT drying sometimes. I'm a mostly dry/oily combo. This does not deter me. Quick fix is using a gentle toner/lotion after (which is what I should do anyway). I also partly attribute this to the winter weather, not drinking enough weather, and using an electric heater the moment it gets cold. Either way, I still use it because I love it that much.

This is my first review ever on any product, and I've only used this one day!I've just started using the 10 ( more like 15) step skin care routine. I was extremely happy with OCM (and still sneak it in my routine because of that amazing facial feeling and look). So I went and did thorough research on all famous Korean/Japanese products and filled up my cart waiting very anxiously to use each product. Luckily they all arrived days apart so it gave me enough time to see how my skin reacts to each one(still waiting on 4 more).So the one product I was most nervous about was this cleanser as it extremely difficult to go back to anything other than oil as a cleanser and moisturizer once you've used ocm. A. Because you are just not used that squeaky tight feeling on your skin B. Because your skin just doesn't feel moist or flexible C. Because your skin becomes super sensitive after using natural organic oils.I looked at the oil cleansers but they all seemed to be just for removing make up (which I don't wear).So I got this yesterday and tried it on this morning, it was like putting silk on your skin, I kid you not! I actually came on here to double check the ingredients to understand why my skin felt so moisturizer and smooth instead of dry and tight, and bingo....it's all oils!!!!Anyhoo can't say much about its effects ( I did receive compliments for glowing skin today but that could be a combination of the mizon snail ampoule and repair cream which I also received yesterday).
