Beautiful quality. And print size is as described and easy to read. Review: Good Price - For its price, it's a quality bible. The translation of this bible, the NABRE, is the one you'll hear read aloud at mass in the United States. And despite this version more-or-less being the official translation for American Catholics, it's hard to come by quality bibles of this translation. So when I came across this one, I was pleasantly surprised. Overall, it's sort of a no-nonsense bible. It doesn't have any pictures or tables intermingled with the text that may distract you from reading the scriptures themselves. There are introductions to each section of the bible: pentateuch, historical books, gospels, new testament letters, etc. There are also introductions to each book of the bible. There are some well-made, detailed maps at the very back of the bible as well as several blank pages for personal notes. Another thing I personally like is that there are no "presented to" or dedication pages in the front. As someone who typically buys bibles for myself, I always found these pages a bit annoying. I'm perfectly content to just write my name inside the front cover rather than filling out a page that says "Presented to myself from myself on the occasion of I wanted a new bible." One interesting quirk about this bible is that the notes and cross-references are not in the margins or at the bottom of the page; instead, they're all at the end of each respective book in their own section. The benefit to this is that if you're just casually reading or doing lectio divina, you won't be distracted by said references and can just focus on the text itself. The drawback is, if you want to read the notes and cross-references, you're going to be doing some extra page flipping back and forth. In which case, I highly recommend getting some bible tabs as it'll make getting to these sections a lot easier. I'd say the only negative about this bible is the font. It's large print as advertised, but the style and thickness of the letters on the page mean that you can see the text from the next couple pages through the paper. This in turn causes the page to look a bit more busy and cluttered than it needs to be. It's still easy to read however, but this is something the publisher should consider tweaking in the future. Still, considering the price and everything else mentions, I'd say it's worthy of 5 stars.

Large print Catholic bible
Great value. Beautiful quality. And print size is as described and easy to read.

Nice!
Great bible. Print is definitely smaller but I suppose since there is so much information to fit into one book, it has to be!

Beautiful Bible for the price!
Absolutely beautiful Bible! Well made for the price and I love the large print. Although it should be noted that the non-scripture “notes” and what not is a smaller font, which is fine with me. Also comes in a very sturdy box to store in or for travel. My only regret is not spending the extra $10 to get the version that has the letters cut into the edges of the pages for easier navigation, but I’m just going to buy Bible tabs and do it myself (Amazon has a nice selection).

Really lovely, great font and notes
I bought this bible for a friend being confirmed. We both enjoy studying passages and comparing different versions etc. Not only is this bible a joy to hold, with font that makes reading effortless, but the notes and additional info are great.

Received black instead of brown. Will still make use of it.
I received the Black Leathersoft instead of the brown. It is still the correct book with thumb index. I wish I got the brown one but I will still make due with this one.
