18-Volt ONE+ AirStrike 18-Gauge Cordless Brad Nailer (Tool-Only)

First time using a battery powered nailer, I’ve always used pneumatic nailers. It seemed a bit heavy when I first took it out of the box, but it didn’t take long getting used to it considering I’m not having to haul out an air compressor and hose. If you have a lot of small projects, this is perfect. No jams and nails are set at the right depth if adjusted correctly. I’ve so far shot 2” and 1” nails with no issues. I wish it had come with a case as I’m now storing it in its cardboard box, which will not last long.

Works as advertised. Sturdy and good quality. Easy to use and not too heavy. I’ve found many uses for it.

Took it out the box, loaded it with 1-1/4 brad nails, popped a battery in and got to work. The depth gauge near the nozzle is easy to understand and use. There's a little delay as the tool compresses air to drive the nail but it is very quiet, plus there's no compressor kicking on suddenly to scare you. Now that I have this wonderful, compact tool, I'm thinking about getting rid of the air compressor that takes up quite a bit of space in my basement. I'll need it for workspace for all the projects that I'm dreaming of now that I have this great piece of machinery.

I don't love that there isn't an option that has a battery too, but it's compatible with the other 18V battery operated One+ tools I already have. It's a bit heavy compared to a traditional pneumatic style nailer, but there's no bulky compressor or hose to contend with... so that's a win! The pressure is easily adjustable, nails are easy to load, and the whole thing is user friendly. Finished the trim in the bathroom while the baby was sleeping which would not have been possible with my pneumatic finish nailer.

I'm very happy with this particular nailer. It's very easy to use and made the task of adding baseboards in my basement renovation project go quickly. It's powerful enough to easily drive brads and can be adjusted for depth. I have experienced a few jams but nothing that would cause me to return it. Please note that this particular nailer uses smaller brads than what was used on the original baseboards so you might want to step it up if you need stronger connection (for areas where walls have some curvature). This nailer also does not have the continuous nailer function of others, requiring a trigger pull with every brad. However, that really didn't slow me down much. It's very durable and worth the price.

This is my first brad-nailer but it saved me a lot of effort and time. Just make sure which model you’re buying, there are several with the same name but the looks and the model number are different. Yes it is on the heavier side, but for a strong hand it’s nothing (at least for me it’s better than a hanging hose). Just make sure you press it well otherwise nail depth will be inconsistent (there’s a little click after pushing it all the way down with a little give). Only beware it will leave indentation marks on the plastic molding material - be gentle with those.

Gift to my husband and he likes it very much. Easy to use and good for hobbies and trim work. Good value for the money.

The nail gun has worked well for me through two projects, installing shiplap siding on one wall of two different bedrooms. I used 2 inch nails to attach the soft pine shiplap boards (approximately 5/8 inch thick) through sheetrock and into the wall studs. It handled the job very well. I didn't really have any problems with the nail gun, only the shiprock boards, which were not the best quality. But we got the job done. I look forward to using this product for other projects.

Für mich ist Ryobi die Marke für tolle Werkzeuge und Maschinen. Alles mit einer Sorte Akku. Und ich habe über 100,00 € gespart, da ich das Produkt bei Amazon US bestellt habe. Andere Bezeichnung, gleiches Produkt.
