This is a must buy for anyone who wants to increase hydration, save money and reduce pastic waste by eliminating disposable bottles, and for people who hate that "plastic" taste you get from most water bottles! This is one of the best purchases I have made related to my hydration, this 20oz Ello Pure BPA-Free Glass Water Bottle is great for filling up at the water cooler or at home and taking to the gym. I really like the multitude of colors and patterns available, which work for both men and women alike. The silicone makes the glass bottle easy to grip, even when sweaty, and provides a bit of cushion should you drop the container. Water bottle measures 10.75 inches (~27CM) tall with cap, 9.4 inches (~24cm) without cap and has an opening of 1.5 inches (~3.7 cm) Pro's Lots of Color and Pattern options are great for all genders Silicone makes it easy to grip and provides a little shock absorbancy No Plastic Smell/Taste in the water you drink No BPA's or other toxins come in contact with your drinking water. Wife review: This is it. This is the only style of water bottle that I will use. It has everything I need and actually encourages me to drink more water (which is, of course, a major plus). The flip top style water bottle left me displeased with the plastic scent, and the "graphic-style" non-sleeve water bottle left me sad when the design would so easily scrape off, in addition to being more vulnerable to damage due to the lack of sleeve. This one, the classic, the screw on cap, with the convenient built in travel top (just pick it up and go!), the protective silicone sleeve and the heavy duty BPA/lead-free glass... this is the one that I can't live without! I absolutely love how crisp my water tastes! This is my second one due to the mysterious disappearance of the first one's color matched cap (I suspect a small child oftentimes likened to a raccoon had something to do with it) and went through a couple others in the interim and realized that none other would compare to this. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting quality and durability. Please Ello, never discontinue this style.

This bottle was great! I had it on my desk for several months and used it everyday. However, the very first time I dropped it, it broke. I didn't drop it on the floor, I had it on my tray in the lunch room at my office, and when I moved the tray, it fell off the tray and onto the buffet area and broke. I was very surprised that such a small impact would break the glass, because it felt pretty darn sturdy. It wasn't just a crack either, my drink went everywhere, it was completely smashed. For the price, it is a good value though, and I feel better drinking out of glass rather than plastic or even metal, so I am going to purchase a similar bottle from Ello again. Just be careful; it's more delicate than it looks.

Like many people, I had read too many articles online about the woes of plastic and steel water bottles, so I decided to finally bite the bullet and pick this one up. The price point was great, and I love the grey silicon sleeve. The silicon is VERY sturdy and grippy, and water/condensation doesn't get stuck between the silicon and the glass-I was worried about how I'd clean it, but so far just running soapy water over it and inside it has worked like a charm. I had noticed prior to ordering that some reviewers mentioned an odor. Yes, there is a slight odor for the first few days that wouldn't go away even with washing. However, it ultimately faded away. Water does taste crisp and clean. This water bottle is generally easy to drink from--it is not a wide mouth, I would say it's closer to a medium or small mouth (It does hit the underside of my nose when i drink!) but it's totally comfortable to drink from. The water bottle is 20 ounces, which is perfect for me as I just try to drink 4 of these per day. Overall, I love it and would recommend it!!

I love glass bottles. I just feel that they are healthier, with the potential of being more environmentally friendly, and a bottle in general helps you get more water in your day. I bought this bottle to replace the other class bottle that I lost. Everything was working great... until the bottle made a pretty short distanced fall in my car and shattered into many pieces. I'm thinking that the bottle must have fallen at a weird angle and that is why it shattered? I know that shattering is a risk you must take with all glass bottles... but I was a little surprised at how little it took. I had my other glass bottle for a year and dropped it several times, and it took the fall like champ. The bottle was great while it lasted, but I am going to try another brand for the next glass I get.

I got this bottle for my husband to drink at work because he doesn't drink enough water and often forgets about it during busy times. This bottle is great because it is large enough and hold cold water cool for a long time. The rule is that he has to finish the entire bottle every day at work, and it's been working great. The bottle is sturdy and keeps clean really well because it is glass. All he has to do is rinse it before he fills it up in the morning and voila!

I use this daily for work and have no issues. No leaks. Easy to clean. have not noticed any negatives about the bottle. Love the glass design. I've had issues with other brands and stainless bottles rusting overtime. I don't even know how long I've had this bottle at least a year or two and still works great. Finally a bottle that lasts and is not ridiculously priced.

Like the look and the size---prefer the wide mouth for drinking rather than sipping from a tiny opening. Glass is great for washing

Such an improvement on a plastic bottle. The silicone outer cover is highly protective so I haven't been worried about it smashing though I think I do handle it with more care. I use mine to put milk in for the day and it looks so cool with the little spots turning white. You can instantly see how much you have left. Doesn't keep drinks that cold, probably the plastic kept the milk colder for longer but to be honest I'd trade that in for the health benefits. Great little handle on the top of the lid makes it easy to handle. Would definitely recommend.
