Hyundai Wing Rear Trunk Emblem Compatible for 2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan

These are genuine Hyundai parts. The rear post are cut off because they don't align with the holes for the "H" emblem that is removed from the trunk lid. This saves a lot of effort and prevents possibly damaging the part while cutting the posts. Easy installation using 3M double sided tape fitted to the new emblem. Looks great on the car.

With the help of a YouTube video my husband was able to place emblem on the trunk of my 2015 Genesis! I’m happy to have the Hyundai off my car . It is perfect and a lot cheaper than going to dealer to purchase .

Excellent. A professional car service assisted me in doing the installation. Looks perfect as if I purchased the vehicle with it. The older Genesis, like 2015 model, has the Hyundai logo which is not as attractive. 5 stars because the logo has not faded and looks as good as the day I bought it well over three months ago!

Don't believe the 1 star reviews. Unfortunately they can't read directions. As stated in the title and description, after you cut the tabs, since this is a front emblem, you're all good to go. My guess is hyundai decided the larger one looks better than the small one, that's why they only offer this one. They do have rear emblems with the correct tab on Amazon, but why when you can have a bigger and better one! Overall, it was easy to modify. I did it when watching TV. Now to put it on.

Don't believe the other reviews for this item. It does not fit the tailgate of a 2015 Genesis. I removed my factory emblem only to find that the mounting holes in the trunk lid don't align with the post. Unfortunately, by that time I had two holes in my trunk lid which needed to be covered in order to keep out water. So I removed the posts, which is easily done, but the back of the emblem doesn't match the curvature of the trunk lid. I pressed it in place, but the adhesive doesn't make contact all the way around, and there are gaps between the body and the edge of the emblem. It's highly unlikely that this emblem will stay on the car for years, these gaps will be a magnet for dirt, and it's quite possible it will allow water into my trunk lid from day one. Now I have to buy another emblem, and if I can't find the correct one I may have to pay money to replace the flying H. I'm a very unhappy customer. BTW, all the other 2015 tailgate emblems I found on Amazon seem to be the same one. If the posts are located near the midpoint of the wings, it's the wrong emblem. The posts are much too far apart. The correct item will have two posts much closer to the center of the emblem to align with the factory holes in the trunk lid. FWIW, I doubt the correct emblem exists, but if I find it I'll add to this comment.

Almost perfect. I actually took it to a body shop and they installed it for free. The only issue is that the posts don't match the holes. There are too wide apart. But they cut the posts off and just used the 3M adhesive. It worked fine and looks great.

The most difficult part was removing the old one. Between the hair dryer and the floss it took about 1/2 hour and another 1\2 hour to remove the adhesive. YouTube had a few good videos. But if you want it ,you gotta do it. Time consuming but worth it. For those that care about that emblem. Elbow grease and Googone.

The item shipped from Korea; lead time was about 2 weeks. This is the OEM rear trunk Genesis emblem (2015). Keep in mind that the spacing of the holes in the trunk that secure the emblem is not the same as the space between the plastic pegs in the OEM part (differences between Korean and North American markets); a small modification of the emblem is necessary to secure it to the trunk (sanding of the plastic pegs). Good experience with the seller; no issues.

100% a Hyundai original part. My body shop installed it in half an hour and it looks great. Happy camper.
