I've had a range of RRS and other plate manufacturers for my Nikon gear. Obviously there's a huge price difference in RRS gear, and, it's great. This is 90% of RRS fit and finish, and, it fits the camera very well. Stable, still giving access to all ports on the body. Hard to argue with aggressive pricing and get full function as well. I only wish they produced an L-plate that works with the battery grip.

It's OK, but I much prefer the Really Right Stuff A7RII even though it's $175. The RRS plate make the camera a joy to hold, but if you're on a budget this plate work just fine. The only real problem I had was that there is a bit of a sharp edge right where you hold the camera which dugs into the palm of my hand, this is one of the mail reasons I decided to get the RRS since this plate stays on my Sony 24/7.

Amazing! Best accessory for A7RII if you shoot vertiacal. Actually if you don't shoot vertical you can take off the side place and just use the base plate. I love that you can access all the ports including the battery! Stays secure using one screw. It has threading at the bottom so you could attach another plate or adapter without having to remove. I wanted one of these before but the cost was absurd, but at this cost it's an excellent value. I wish they had versions for all my cameras.

Fits my Sony A7RII like a glove. Not really sharp enough to damage or scratch the camera. Good quality metal, and finish.Very happy with purchase but can't find a corresponding arca-swiss plate to attach it to my Manfrotto 502HD video head.

It works well. I didn't want to spend the money for the RRS l plate. My only complaint is the side plate (for shooting portrait style) , it's a little short.

This fits my Sony A7Rii well. I have shot on my RRS BH-30 LR ballhead with no issues. It is rock solid both horizontally and vertically. I have done some long exposures: 10-30 seconds and they have been rock solid. It works well with the Sony 24-70mm f2.8 lens which is a heavy lens. There is no problem changing the battery with the plate on.

Solid, perfect fit on my A7R2... easy access to battery and chip... I needed this as I can quickly switch from landscape mode to vertical portrait mode on my tripod. (Arca Swiss compatible) plus added protection without a lot of weight and bulk.

I wish they made one for the Sony extended battery grip but this one is very nicely made and fit perfectly giving access to the battery and the cable plugs.
