Photoshop Elements 12 All-in-One For Dummies 1st Edition

Very difficult to follow. I DO HAVE a good understanding of Elements already and do a GREAT DEAL of photography. BUT after two days of attempting to follow the author I gave up and came to the conclusion I'd just wasted my money. I was also disappointed when early on in the book the author stated in effect that the editor was pressuring her to finish the book. HOW SAD!!!!!!.This book is not for the beginning photo editor, TRUST ME ON THATBecause the book is thick does not mean that it is detailed, easy to read and an easy read. Quite the oppositeInstead of buying this book consider purchasing a good set of instructional videos on the subject.

A great book for Macintosh users. This program works very similar with Mac or Windows. Many of the examples shown are from the nicer looking Macintosh environment. Any differences in the program's operation between Mac and Windows is explained. A well-written book where the information is easy to find.

If you want to learn what PSE12 has to offer get this book ! It is very detailed and comprehensive and explains nicely all the features in PSE12. I had another book for PSE11 but it was too superficial . Definitely happy with this guide to help me in learning PSE12.

Nicely laid out and easy to read, especially for such a complex program. Helped me better understand many of tools that I had used in Photoshop Elements 8.

Not really. I ended up doing the free UTube tutorials. I felt some of the process was missing. Photoshop is extensive and I didn't think this book covered the possibilities this software was capable of.

This is a great book for anyone using photoshop elements 12. It is very explanatory and easy to understand. I would recommend this book to everyone.

What can you say about the dummies books other than they are great and explain every thing very clearly

Used in conjunction with Mastering Photoshop Elements 12 Made Easy training tutorial DVD I found Elements 12 for DUMMIES made learning so easy.

Great book well written and presented

If you want to study entire book, & learn Elements 12 complete. This is an excellent book! I wanted to know certain parts, I found it frustrating when I was in section I wanted to learn. It familiarized you with topic, then to actually do what I wanted, it always said see (sec??) So in order to use this book you would have to, & remember most of this book. I don't like the idea of jumping around! Not what I was looking for at all. Maybe I'm dumber, than most dummies!! )-: It will take me a couple of weeks to read & actually know what Elements 12 is all about. Not what I signed up for!
