Ceramic Glazed Doesn't Leak
Herodian - Biblical Replica Ancient Clay Oil LAMP, Glazed Coating symbolize The time of Jesus, Jerusalem Oil lamp Religious Gifts Christian Gift I definitely recommend the oil lamp that has "glazed coating" in the description. It doesn't leak! I've owned several of the clay oil lamps and they leak everywhere. I've even tried applying a clear coat finish on the clay oil lamps and they still leaked. It has to be glazed inside and outside. The ceramic glazed oil lamp looks terrific. It would make a great gift for any occasion. I'm so happy that I found this. I think it only came with one wick so you'll want to buy more of those. I just use regular light virgin olive oil and it doesn't smoke or have a bad smell.

Nice
Very Nice. It may be small, but this is about the size of the clay lamps in Jesus' time. It is supposed to burn for about 4 hours and light up a small room. I am not using it until an emergency.

Looks great!
Don't use the wick that it comes with. It does not soak up the oil and is essentially a very thin candle. Used thicker cotton yarn and worked great. Oil did spill, makes use to place it on a coaster or small plate to not stain furniture. Feels very delicate. And feels smaller than what the pictures show but overall love the lamp

Small but lovely.
Nicely made. It is fairly small and the provided wick didn’t work well (for me). I swapped the provided wick with jute twine and it burned for hours.

Good ornament bad lamp
Purchased the one with scroll work. Very pretty, but totally useless. If you want it as a souvenir or knik-nack it's great. As a lamp the wick provided doesn't work, it leaks oil and the hole for the wick is too low. If the front of the lamp went up not down it could hold enough oil to be useful and not bleed oil over everything. Do not recommend for actual use. Don't put oil in it or try to actually use it. Very disappointed.

Tiny & cute!
Perfect gift for someone who appreciates the meaning of it. Smaller than expected but that gives more value to think that one burned for 8 days! Very cool gift!
