Love this little workbook! It’s super cute with little character friends and is a great starting point for little ones learning to use a pencil/crayon to draw more than just squiggles or blobs all over the page (like my almost 4yo does with a blank sheet). There’s plenty of opportunity for their imaginations to play and love the letter learning in the back. Would highly recommend! My little one was already teaching her animals what it’s about! It also doesn’t feel overwhelming or intimidating or like it’s trying to teach your kid EVERYthing like some other books might.

This book is great for a young and eager learner. I love how they sectioned off the different learning areas. One area for different kinds of lines , numbers , letters , shapes , and objects! My daughter was 4 in October and aged for pre k where I live. She loves it.

This has been a wonderful resource for my 4 yr old who has needed more to do while her 1st grade sister homeschools. It starts off with tracing which is great for her hand-eye coordination with pages she can then go and color for fun, but then moves onto other activities that allow her to not only trace but use her imagination to draw with. Images are age-appropriate and it’s straightforward enough that she can work independently for a while with the activities. Love having this resource and now her sister is asking to work on some of the pages as well!

This book is a good tracing book for teaching hand writing. 4 stars since the pages aren’t perforated. Little kids do better with one sheet, not having to hold open a book.

Perfectly delightful! Great OT (occupational therapy) resource for my child to help with motor control. Dragons, nights, castles, princesses, diamonds and even parallelograms! This book is great! Tip for parents with kids that have trouble with just scribbling all over: tell them the dragon has to eat the dots along the way or the princess needs to pick up each pebble as she walks. It helps calm their hand and focus their mind on the task in front of them. ❤️

Such a great workbook! We got this since the kids are homeschooling right now, and I felt the need to supplement what school was sending home. This was a perfect supplementation that my son begs to do! He goes and gets it and asks if he can do “more school”! Win for him and me!

Keeps my 3 year old busy and she loves to do her “homework” like big sister.

I'm sure this depends on the kid, but my preschooler loved it. In fact, she had so much fun with it that my kindergartner asked for a copy too so we went ahead and got one for him to enjoy. The page quality is great, not thin or easily torn like in some books. Great book for fine motor practice.

There are cheaper varieties of tracing books out there, but this one is amazing for the price! Definitely worth the nearly $10 it is listed for! Great cover feel, tons of different line and shape practice, it gets creative with some shapes and encourages kids to turn the shapes into pictures and gives a couple examples of a diamond into a kite and a triangle into a slice of pizza. There are a ton of more intricate tracing pages with things like a butterfly, castle and dragon. And finishes with the full alphabet! The only things I could think of to make this book even better would have been to have perforated pages ( I used an exacto-knife to remove each page) and to have tracing numbers in the back too. Overall, extremely happy with the quality and content of this book! To add: the more practice, the better! So I cut these pages out to slide into clear sheet protectors from the dollar store, and my kids use dry erase markers directly on the sheet protector. It wipes right off and then they can practice again!
