Gooby Every Day Fleece Cold Weather Dog Vest for Small Dogs, Green, Large

We own most colors of these adorable fleece pullovers for our mini schnauzer who is 12. We live on a farm in cold Michigan and she is the happiest when she is outside roaming around. Thankfully these keep her perfectly toasty inside and outside during the winter and are easy to put on and store. If she gets one dirty we just switch it out for another cute color. She wears a size LARGE and it's the PERFECT fit for her. She is at a healthy weight - not too thin or too pudgy for her frame if that helps. I love that it has the little hooks for the leash if need be. And this might sound weird, but she is getting older and doesn't always love to be picked up, but we can safely pick her up by pulling on this fleece and she loves that.Ps. this cute collar is also from amazon. It was adorable for the Christmas season and matched her cute fleece.

I have a Boston terrier that weighs about 17 pounds. This is just a tiny bit long on her but she is only a seven month old puppy but it fits otherwise perfectly. If you want a zipper it does not have that you have to put it over the head, but it's easy to put on and off.

I love the color, and the built it leash clip. The quality is good, but it runs small. I bought Medium for my 12 lb. poodle, and it's too tight, hard to get on and off. I returned and bought the Large for her.

Med...11lb. dachshund! Measure dog & have no doubts! Quality of fabric phenomenal (inside & out)! Human ski brand soft! Fits like glove! No signs of stretch after hrs of running outside (in woods), jumping on & off, etc...as normally would. That means it's "Lila approved!" Not to mention she looks like a supermodel!

We have 3 pugs and swear by Gooby products especially harnesses. I saw these and thought they'd be great. We got 2 mediums and 1 large. The size difference between the 2 was huge. Too tight for my smaller two and too big for my big guy. They aren't very stretchy and unlike most Gooby products the V neck shape to protect delicate necks is quite tight and high. If your pug is not potatoe shaped and more slim it might be ok but if I switched a size up, my 2 small potatoes would be tripping on it.If you can get a good fit it is still a nice quality Gooby product.

This is our 12 lb chi-terrier mix's second fall and winter with her fleece, with no problems to report. As opposed to our last dog who didn't like wearing anything no matter how cold it was, our chi-terrier seems to like wearing cozy things when it's chilly, and she really likes this fleece. It's a slip on, which like zippers and velcro can have pros and cons. I bought this fleece just a tad large and it's easy to slip out without being TOO loose. It also depends on whether the dog minds wearing things or not. Our chi doesn't fight it, in fact she "helps" by putting her head in the neck hole and lifting her paws up to step through the leg holes. If your dog isn't as cooperative or if you buy one that isn't a little loose it could be a problem slipping it on.This is a lightweight, unlined fleece, good for cool weather or wearing around the house. We live in the SW so our winters are mild, but it does get chilly (40s, 50s) after sunset. This fleece is good for those temps plus she likes wearing it around the house in the winter and sleeping in it. It's kind of like a comfy housecoat. It goes all the way to the base of her tail, which is good when it's cooler. If it's not as cool, I fold it under so it covers only her front half. At the other extreme, for more serious Midwestern winter cold like where we used to live, I think something heavier, maybe quilted, would be better for outdoors but would probably be too heavy for indoors.The other thing I like about this fleece is the sewn-in "D" ring for clipping a leash. Since she wears the fleece indoors and out in the winter it's nice to not have to wear a harness underneath it. She's only 12 pounds, very well behaved on a leash, and doesn't pull hard, so the sewn-in leash is sufficient for walks. For a bigger, more exuberant dog, the D ring would probably not be enough and a harness or leash would have to be worn with it.

The media could not be loaded.  He looks super cute in it but i worry for when his fur grows more for the winter. It is a tight fitting and even sizing up one will be too big. The large was too long on the back and on stomach. So I sized down to a Medium and it fits for now. Wish it was a lil more stretchy but overall he looks cute in it so I like it.

Compre el rojo, está muy bonito el color. La tela es de buena calidad y de buena construcción. No se estira. Le quedó un poquito chico pero la verdad es que los medidos indicaron que estaría un poco chico, pero pensé que era impossible que usara algo más grande de XL porque no es una perra grande. Lo que quiero decir es que sigan las mdedidas. Excellente producto se lo tube que poner a mi perra que es más chica.

I love these coats, they are well made, warm and cozy. I have a 10lb chunky Chihuahua/Corgi cross and I ordered a size Large, as she has a wide chest. The coat is a little long at the back, but elsewhere fits her perfectly. I always have a difficult time finding coats to fit her and was pleasantly surprised with these. I purchased the purple and pink and the colours are lovely. My little dog is very comfortable in her coats.

Fitted very well my frenchie. However it got a hole after the first walk and she’s not pulling a lot as a dog … so would be worried it breaks quite easily now.

Bought a large sweater for my 2year old Jack Russell, he loves it, so lightweight and a perfect fit.Was unsure about the sizing at first but glad I went with a large in the end.
