Works great! No chemicals and no more gnats!
It worked! I had a horrible fungas gnat outbreak. I have about 20 plants in my house, one pot was the culprit, but sadly, well, you know how fast they can get out of hand. I ordered these based off a suggestion from my botanist friend. No more fungas gnats and no chemicals!!

Finally - An Organic Solution That Actually Works for Fungus Gnats!
I've tried EVERY organic and natural treatment possible to knock out a persistent and incredibly heavy fungus gnat infestation in my houseplants - hydrogen peroxide, neem oil, cinnamon, mosquito bits, even another brand of nematodes from Amazon. Nothing had worked. NaturesGoodGuys was the only product that finally did what it claimed. Shipping was impressively fast and handled with care...FedEx Priority Overnight from Oregon to NYC, insulated between two gel ice packs. Even though my package was delivered at room temperature, the nematodes inside were still alive and active. I unpacked them right away and placed the sealed organism packets in the fridge (inside their original bubble sleeve to reduce light exposure) as recommended. Following the clear instructions, I mixed and watered all my indoor plants. The results: gnat numbers visibly dropped about 30% per week, and by the fourth week—none at all. I haven’t seen a single gnat in the last week, and my plants are healthy and happy. No more tiny bugs buzzing my screen, face, and lights. You can probably find cheaper nematode products, but these are the real deal. They arrive alive, shipped fast, and with clear instructions. I’m so happy with the result that I’m putting NaturesGoodGuys on my subscribe and save list for future auto-orders. Can’t recommend highly enough if you want a true biological pest control solution that works.

Game-Changer for Pest Control - Results in Just Days!
Despite a one-day shipping delay (not the seller's fault), I was pleased with my nematode order. When I contacted the seller about the delay, they reassured me that these beneficial organisms are quite hardy and would remain viable. Following their advice, we examined the nematodes under a microscope before application—they were actively moving and clearly alive! We applied the nematodes across an extensive area: over an acre of yard (targeting ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes), 10 raised garden beds, 5 native herb beds, 30+ container plants on patios and decks, and several dozen indoor planters. The results exceeded my expectations. Within just three days, the persistent gnat problem in my houseplants was completely resolved. After two weeks, we noticed a dramatic reduction in outdoor pests including ants, beetles, ticks, and grubs. As an added bonus, all our plants appear healthier and more vibrant than before. I only wish I had discovered beneficial nematodes sooner—they've been a game-changer for our pest management!

I know what you are thinking . . .
Do these things REALLY work? That is the big question on everyone's mind. Between the worries of "are they still alive" & "did i kill them" to "how do i know if it worked" & "when will i know if it worked", these aren't really things that the home user can see for themselves. It's not like a pesticide where you see the dead bodies of the things that you are killing. These little guys not only work below the dirt, but they work from within what you want to die. So it's a double unseen force. Now in my case, i had a few carpenter ant colonies, hundreds of thousands of japanese beetles, & other little pests that were causing issues. After the first year's application, under i must say not the greatest of conditions, the ant colonies were dead, & the beetles were diminished. Which was a promising first go. The following year's conditions were even worse than the first, from issues with application to an extremely dry season. So the next year's results were a little less than stellar, but the beetles were still reduced. We're hoping that this year we get better results.

They did their job
Hard to tell, but I’m fairly certain these did help my garden. I had less damage from soil borne pests such as a vine borders, cucumber beetles, and squash bugs. Although they were still there, the numbers were significantly reduced. Prolonging produce season!

Didn't work and seller contradicts their website
I purchased the 25m triple blend nematode pack because I found wireworms in a new garden area where I had just planted some blueberries. I chose this blend after carefully researching online and reviewing their website and figured the triple blend would be great to treat any additional pests that might be in that area. On their website it states that this treats the egg, larva and pupae stages of pests which was great since wireworms are the larval stage of the click beetle. Additionally, the site said I should see results within a couple of days. Thank the lucky stars there's a product that's supposed to kill wireworms and it's not an insecticide! I didn't have a huge area to treat but thought that since there's a lot of them, laying these microscopic pest killers on thickly would be a good thing anyway! I received the product and it was still cold which was great. I threw it in the refrigerator just in case and left it overnight and planned how to apply it correctly. After triple checking the process and plucking wireworms off my potato traps, I applied the nematodes according to the package and website and carefully made sure the application area was lightly watered every day so these killers could get to killing. After 3 days I decided to check my potato traps, hoping to see just one dead wireworm near the traps. Instead, I found them as happy as can be munching away on the traps. I didn't expect to see a lot dead, but I had hoped for at least one near their main party spot, and found none. But, I was sure they just needed a little time. So I carefully covered my traps back up and waited another 4 days. When I checked again, the result was the same: wireworms aplenty, no casualties. I contacted the seller to ask if there was a way I had a bad batch. I didn't apply them incorrectly, I waited a week to see even a single visible result, I bought the blend that targeted wireworms, I applied the entire bag into a very small spot so I didn't under-apply, and I just wasn't sure where to go from there. The first response I got was to tell me that nematodes work from the bottom up (cool info), and that they kill egg, larva and pupae stages of pests (still cool, but already knew that). However, from there I was told that it could take 2 weeks to see any results (not cool) and that I should re-treat after 14 days, and see good results after 6-8 weeks (even more into the not cool zone). Now, herein lies the problem. When I went to the Natures Good Guys website to research the product initially, I didn't see this. Instead I saw "Within a few days the pest will change color and die". So this was completely contradictory to what I had researched. However, I knew I had a lot of wireworms to kill, which is why I gave it a week, hoping to see a casualty. Additionally, when they messaged me to tell me that nematodes only work on eggs, larva and pupae, I responded telling them that the wireworm IS the larval stage of the Click Beetle. I mean, that's why I got nematodes. I again asked if there's a chance that the SC strain of nematode (that they outlined on their guide attacks wireworms) could have been bad? Their response? It would have smelled like rotten meat. Ok, so....that wasn't mentioned anywhere, and shoving my nose near a bag filled with 25 million microscopic roundworms really never crossed my mind, and was definitely not on my to-do list when I was mixing this up. So, I guess at this point I'm going to chalk this up to the fact that either 1) the nematodes don't in fact work on wireworms as advertised, 2) the seller just doesn't know what they're talking about, or 3) I received a bad batch and didn't know I had to do a smell test to make sure they were good (gross). I'll probably give nematoes another try, but it won't be this brand. :(

Weather didn't cooperate, time sensitive.
Unfortunately we couldn't use them before they died. Had 4wks+ off 90+ degree weather and no rain. Will try again in spring.

they work
My inhouse plants developed a serious case of fungus gnats over the winter. UGH. Literally within 3 days of applying these little babies the reduction is HUGE and my plants are healthy. I like that these are a natural organic solution. My process was to water my plants well, then the next day - apply the solution of these nematodes. 3 days later I watered again lightly to keep the soil moist. These are going on recurring order.
