LighTunes LS1001-WOD-BT Bluetooth Speaker Lamp with Alarm Clock, FM Radio, and USB Charging Port, Wood Grain, 7.87" x 7.87" x 16.54"

Everything about this radio light is wonderful...except the light comes on with the alarm or radio alarm. There is no way to turn off the light feature (we even checked with the manufacturer). I like to wake up to NPR and listen for awhile. I do not want the light on. The workaround is to reach over and hit the light button...the light turns off and the radio stays on. But if you hit the Snooze button, the light/alarm process starts again with the next alarm cycle. Other than that, this is a great item. The shade is real cork, not cork vinyl. It's compact and takes up so little room on the nightstand. Also the speakers are really good and the sound is much better than most clock radios.Update...just realized that this radio alarm also comes on quietly and goes quickly to full volume. So you get blasted by both the light and a very loud radio....even if you turn the radio volume way down the night before. This is the craziest idea, I just don't understand why they would do this. I would not recommend this if you plan to use the radio alarm. It's a great light/radio/phone charger but a terrible radio alarm.

Four stars. Let me elaborate. This is a really good looking product. Lamp, bluetooth, alarm clock, all wrapped up in a nice retro-looking package. The shade is actual cork texture, which is nice. The wood grain look of the base is nice, and overall this sucker is really pleasing to the eyes. The alarm works perfectly, the bluetooth isn't perfect quality but works quite well for a bedside device. The lamp flips on with the alarm which I think is pretty great. The actual alarm tone isn't horribly annoying so the combo of alarm/light is really good.Now the not-so-great. The display of the alarm is bright. Like, even if you set it real low it is still pretty bright in a dark room. I remedied this by purchasing a vinyl adhesive that dims alarm clock displays (which is apparently a thing that exists!). Worked perfectly. Second, the buttons are a bit odd. In an alarm clock I expect the "alarm" buttons and the "media" buttons to be differentiated a bit. If I just wake up and want to turn off the alarm I should be able to get a distinct feel for which button to press. In this case, most of the buttons are the same size and are all in one row. Unless I memorize and count from left to right how many buttons I need to pass before pressing the "turn off" button, it can be a bit disorienting.Overall, it is really nice. A few little not-so-great things, but I would recommend it.

This is just what I needed for my son's "woodland" themed room. Since I needed a clock and a lamp and I didn't want to have too much stuff on the shelf, this was a no-brainer. The light is bright enough from across the room that I can read to him before bed without him being blinded by the bright overhead light. The blue clock is dim and doesn't light up the whole room in the middle of the night. It was incredibly easy to hook up my phone via Bluetooth and I can even walk around the house and way out into the yard without him losing music. The only con I see is that the base is a little cheap looking, but I love the lamp shade and the wood grain paint and I would recommend this to a friend.

My 12 year old son loves this lamp. It replaces his old (Cars ) lamp and his alarm clock. He even charges his cell phone with this lamp. It sits next to his bed. He likes to play the music on his cell phone via blue tooth on this lamp. It does a lot for such a small package. The cork lamp shade is a nice touch. I would have given it 5 stars but you need to RTFM to be able to set everything up. I would buy this again.

These lamps are with the money! They are great looking and charge ipads and iphones just fine. The hookup to the blootooth and then sounds that come out is easy and sounds suprisingly good!

My husband had an alarm clock with a lamp that was from the '70s. I had tried several Christmases to find the perfect replacement, but he never liked any of them and they went back. This one is perfect! I love the feature that the numbers stay hidden until you want to see them, and the way it wakes him up slowly with light and sound. He doesn't have an Ipod so we got the simple one.

It's everything I wanted. None of my peeps understand why I'm raving about a desk lamp. Bluetooth speaker sounds mediocre, but I was more concerned with having a nice looking lamp that has a clock built in. Keeps my nightstand nice and tidy, used to be super cluttered

It is nice except the clock is so bright with the bright blue light. It has a dimmer feature but even dimmed it is so bright. We have to turn off the display at night so then you do not know what time it is. But it looks nice and works well. If you do not mind a bright light or to have your clock off, then it would rate higher.
