Dorco Pace - 6 Blade Razor with Trimmer For Men

I've ordered these before, but not with the 6 blades... really ordered this for the handle , since I had some replacement blades , Dorco, that I wanted to use. But hubby reported these blades are great, so they also live up to all the superior reviews.

Have used theses for years great shave and even better value

I first must say I love this razor. The blades stay sharp for quite awhile. Even for my husband who shaves his head 3X a week. It seems the handles from Amazon is made differently than the one I ordered directly from Dorco. The handle from dorco has metal where the blade attaches not plastic like the 3 that have broken from Amazon. Im not quite sure why it's not made the same if it's supposedly an authentic product. I will now only order these from Dorco's website. They are also cheaper for the handle on Dorco's website.

I am fan of these razors. They do a very nice job and are very reasonably priced. The reason I ended up buying my first one is because this is the razor that dollar shave club used. I didn't need a subscription service for razors since I typically have a beard, and don't shave a full face, but wanted to still save some money, so I bought this.Downside is the durability. The way the blades attach to the handle is a weak point. This will be by 3rd in handle in 3 years. I know that while my gilette razors blades were more expensive, I still have the same handle that they sent me 20+ years ago.

Blades work well - as good as the Gillette "Fusion" multi-blade system I also use, and much cheaper.Unfortunately the handle is poorly designed and badly made. Twice I've dropped one of these while shaving and had the handle shatter on the floor. Also, the blade eject button often doesn't work. It slides up over the part of the blade that it's supposed to push, so I end up getting a nose-pliers half the time when I want to replace a blade. Gillette's handles work and survive drops a lot better. I feel gouged by Gillette and disappointed by Dorco-Pace.
