Terrible Sequel
A sequel that came five years too late. The first one was released seven years before this one and had a great idea for a horror movie franchise that hadn't been done before. The plot of the sequel was spoiled by the ending of the first film and yet they still managed to screw it up. The script is poor, the acting is poor, the budget was poor, and whoever edited the sound did not get it to sync up correctly with the actors. It takes twenty eight minutes before something actually happens with the virus and it is overly dramatic and unrealistic, just as the beginning scene was. There was a silly cartoon credit scene that would make one think this movie would have been made by a university team. Transitions terrible, unrealistic gore, terrible. The way it failed to follow the first film after the first ten minutes made it almost unwatchable.

Good gory cheesy fun!
If you're like me and enjoy a good cheesy horror film, this is it! Blood everywhere, guts, body fluids, boobs, sexual innuendos, ridiculous storyline and completely unbelievable situations. So perfect!

Where Was the Cabin...???
Seriously, no cabin in Cabin Fever 2! Okay, there's been lots of good reviews here about what's right and what's wrong. I enjoyed the characters and the writing, strong high school interacting reminding me a bit of "Heathers", though not near that caliber. Noah Segan was a great leading man as John, the only thing I remember his from was as the "twink" in "Adam & Steve" and he was quite scene-stealing in that brief appearance!Besides missing the cabin, or as I envisoned from the cover art I thought maybe a bus would break down in the woods at least! But that was "Jeeper Creepers 2"! Okay I missed the slow skin-devestation from the first movie. These guys just started vomiting blood too fast, and for many that was it! Vomit, then dead! None of the tension of discovery that took place in the first Cabin. But of course you couldn't actually do that in a prom movie. Anyone slowly discovering lesions whilst getting dressed for or arriving at the prom would flee immediately to a doctor! So the epidemic becomes rather rushed in this one. I actually can't remember how it ended now all of a sudden, and it was just last night! I guess that speaks for the ending. Last night while watching I wondered if I'd keep this or re-sell it, esp. since my horror dvds have grown beyond the boundries of the shelves I have them in. I think I will for now. maybe instead I should figure out how to pawn off that awful "Bottom Feeder" I watched the other night!Oh, Rider Strong gets top billing? For a cameo that could me anyone under that make-up? Pleez, I want that kind of agent! :)

Another typical under budget horror π©π©π©π©
Unfortunately these sequel to Cabin Fever was pretty disappointing to be honest. I loved the first Cabin Fever which was directed by the brilliant Eli Roth but the second and third installments aren't. As horror fans would know the awesome crazy Winston (Giuseppe Andrews) is in this one which was my sole reason for buying this and he is the only decent character out of all this! It's really poorly acted and the gore factor is so much more than the first I even found myself cringing a little in parts... I would class this as an under budget horror which seems to be grasping at a decent storyline. I should have paid more attention to the lower star reviews as they are far more accurate than the five stars. As much as I love Giuseppe Andrews I'm afraid this one is a donation for my local charity shop π€π©π¬

Another duff German 3D conversion
Another duff German 3D conversion. When will I learn? Every German-only conversion I have seen is useless. Everything looks like it is a foot behind the screen but beyond that there is virtually no 3D. The film itself is poorly written and saved only by some gratuitous gore. It even has some notably bad editing. The integration of cartoon imagery into the film is a seriously bad idea. I couldn't fathom whether this is a horror comedy or not. Best avoided.

A GOOD HORROR FILM
THESE FILMS ARE NOT FOR THE PERSON WITH A WEAK STOMACH, FLESH SEEMS TO DROP OFF THE BONES JUST AS IF IT'S MELTING OR HAD ACID POURED ON IT.
