Is the head small, medium, or large?

I would call it medium--actual dimensions are 1-1/16" by 9/16". And I disagree about the motion; this is a fantastic brush with one head that spins and another that goes back and forth. After I brush, my teeth literally feel as clean as after a pro cleaning. Maybe the batteries in the other reviewer's brush were old, because that's how my last one was at the end.
