Flambeau Outdoors Lil Brute Tackle Box with Lift-Out Tray, Kids, Blue

My son LOVES Hotwheels. This boy has what feels like a billion of them. We have already burned through a few hotwheel "carriers" ,those just do not hold up. A friend suggested a fishing tackle box especially because they are sturdy and can handle a bit of roughness! So I bought 2 of these! They fit ALL his hotwheels to the brim of each. (We took out the trays) He is not a gentle playing boy and I tell ya what. These things have handled without so much as a ding or anything breaking! I'd give 10 stars if I could! All around great tackle box. Price is perfect too! I will absolutely be back to purchase more for future hotwheels and future fishing tackle one day! **EDIT to add- it's been over a year! These things are still handling just like the first day I bought them! He still loves his hotwheels,he is in and out of these every single day! I'm getting ready to buy 2 more because his hotwheels collection has grown since! Still sturdy. Nothing has fallen apart. Few scratches,that's about it 🙃 Great for the price and excellent for kids,especially the rough housing types!

I bought this because I needed to organize my work supplies and this worked great for that. The bottom I put all my charging cords in it including my work radio and charging base for that and my name badge. The tray I put my pens, highlighters, markers, scissors in that. It is very well made.

Sturdy. Good size. I use it for storing tools and liked it because it's not flimsy at all! For the price, under $7.00 you can go wrong. It is well made and can serve multiple purposes besides being a tackle box. I am impressed with its size being a few inches longer than other storage boxes in its price range. I cant really find any cons against it. The snaps are easy to manage and dont get stuck. ITS lightweight, although sturdy. Includes a tray, but I didnt need that, but would help someone stay organized with certain items. All in all, its excellent for a tackle box and serves other useful purposes as well for a storage box for other items. I searched and didnt find another box, this size and quality at this low price. I don't think anyone will be disappointed. It's easy to use (click the latches shut/open), durable, roomy, sturdy and has adequate storage capacity compared to other storage boxes in its category. Plus the tray for addition storage and organization if you need it. I'm very happy. Hope this helps you reach a decision on it, but honestly, I dont see any complaints so far.

I bought this because I needed a box to put things in that I use, often, outside, on the porch -- like scissors, box cutters, tape, note pad, pens.... and this box is more than adequate. It's a nice size, sturdy, and protects those items from the weather. The only thing I don't like is that the snaps (on the lid) are hard to pull up. This might be desirable if I were using this as a tackle box, but I'm not and would like it a little easier to get in to. I find the top tray in boxes like this, a nuisance -- almost any thing I want is in the base and I don't mind digging for them. So, I've removed the tray and might use it as a desk drawer organizer. All in all, the box is great, serves its purpose, and is well-worth what I paid for it.

Good, small, handy toolbox - that’s what I’m using it for, but it could certainly serve another purpose. Exactly as described. It fits tools in the bottom and small items on the top removable tray.

I'll start off by saying at the price I originally bought this ($10), I can hardly complain about this tackle box. I am a drawing student, so I needed a cheap solution for carrying around my art supplies. Despite it being plastic, the case is sturdy and has survived several drops. It has definitely worked as a solution, but there are some things that bother me about it. The hinges are VERY difficult to open and close. I make people next to me jump every time I open or close this thing, and it's a hassle to deal with. The size isn't very big, but it has worked okay as a temporary solution. If you are into painting, jewelry, or any medium that requires lots of space for storage, I would invest some more money into a bigger box. If you just need to store some charcoal and pencils, this will work. If you're a beginner fisherman, this will probably also work, but I would recommend buying a tackle box with more space and compartments to organize your gear.

I needed a small, but substantial, tool box for a cleaning/repair kit. This box is surprisingly sturdy with thick plastic walls. It's not going to carry 30 lbs of tools, it's not water proof, and it should not be left to the elements - but that's not what it's built for. As a light duty box for kits it's an exceptional value. (I was almost put off by the too-cheap price, glad I wasn't.) Both clips are sturdy with a real confirming snap on closing and the box itself doesn't exhibit the flex so common in plastic boxes like this. The tray is 1" deep with 3" of clearance underneath it to the box bottom. Only too small cons: a) the tool tray doesn't have a hole in it's handle to wrap your fingers around b) the box tapers and the inside bottom of the box has dimensions of 3.25" by 11" so plan accordingly However, I still give this 5 stars and would purchase again.

Works perfect for what I need in the kayak. I Velcro a small lure container to the bottom for extra swim baits and lures.

I recommend the Flambeau tackle box and the Plano shot shell box as an sturdy and inexpensive case for grouping items and sets within a much larger toolbox (e.g. the Stanley/Craftsman/Irwin 28-inch structural foam toolbox). The Plano is sturdier but opens lengthwise. I’ve used them for keeping in one place: Kreg pocket hole jig and screws; various locking pliers, plus a sheet metal snips set; Japanese water stones. If you like your tools well organized, you’ll make good use of this.

Great size for kids, although a little flimsy and the lid has to line up perfectly to close. Given the use for kids it is great, but a little thicker plastic or reinforcing would make it function a lot better. The size is great for a kid tool set (like playset).
