Does this ruby fluid work on 60/40 lead I do stainedglass?

From my experience with this Flux it should work gust fine. It provides the cleaning, you need to be sure you have the right heat for the bond.

What kind of shelf life does it have, when is the expiration date?

I think it is almost all inorganic chemicals. Not sure why it would have much of a shelf life, but maybe the manufacturer has some info. I looked over the MSDS and there was nothing there that raised concerns about changes over time. I guess it could dry out if you left the top off. I'll be curious to see what others say.

I am pouring multing lead in a mold around stainless steel wire will this help it to bond tighly to the wire ???

I don't know how to answer your question about pouring multing lead a round stainless steel wire? I don't think rubyfluid is what you're looking for??? I originally purchased the Ruby fluid or soldering copper on the top of my chimney before I sold my house I replaced the whole top of the chimney with copper and soldered the joints using ruby fluid the flux for soldering the copper.
