I use the product to polish my black car. The product has an amazing finish with decent water beading. Able to remove light scratches as advised. It's super easy to remove though leaves the microfibre towel black-stained (washes off easily). Highly recommend the product! In-fact, I just bought two more 14oz bottles!

I see a lot of mixed reviews on this one. I used it the other day and I can say it does help. It won't make all the imperfections disappear but there is an improvement. People also complained about it not lasting very long... Its a wax, none of them last very long with exposure to elements. Waxes generally don't last too long in general so it will need reapplied. I noticed a bigger impact on the rock chips than the scratches. It's easy to apply and remove. I would recommend a buffer rather than by hand. This product did improve the appearance of the paint and I would recommend but don't expect manage expectations.

There is something gratifying about polishing and waxing your car by hand. The polish is easy to apply with a sponge applicator and remove with a microfiber cloth. This will remove light scratches and swirls. I applied this to a 1982 BMW 633 Csi with the original single stage paint which means there's no clearcoat. The car is not garaged and is exposed to all the elements. It's important to wash, clay bar, iron decon, and IPA prep prior to applying the polish. The Turtle Wax Iron Remover also worked well during the preparation especially since there's no rotten egg smell. I let the paint cure for 24 hours before applying the Hybrid Solutions Black Spray Wax. The results were amazing on 41 year old paint in decent condition. Finally, I used Technician's Choice 582 detail spray as a sealer because I bought a gallon from Amazon. While I have a DA polisher I wanted to see how this product worked by applying by hand. If you own a black car, this is a no brainer. I am totally satisfied with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions for black cars.

My car is Obsidian Black. Usage: 12" square area -two drops, 4" orange cut pad and high speed buffer. Worked left/right & up/down and the shine and scratch removal were both SUPERB!! I will only use this from here on out!!

I like this primarily because it gives your black paint a nice deep shine. However, here are a few reasons I don’t give it 5 stars: 1. Price—For the size of the bottle, it seems overpriced. 2. It’s too runny—it doesn’t have the consistency of other wax products I’ve used. You apply it to the pad and it immediately starts running. So you better ready to go, once that thing is on your pad. 3. It doesn’t actually remove swirls. It’s black on black paint, so if you apply enough of it, it sort of fills in any fine dings in the paint and/or very fine swirl marks. But it’s not like a cutting compound or anything like that can actually remove the swirl marks. 4. It’s messy—It’s a black paste, so you better have a devoted pad and a microfibre to apply and clean it off. Do not use this on a car that doesn’t have a black paint. I have a feeling the black paste will smear all over and it wouldn’t be an easy task to clean that mess up.

Served the purpose for what I bought it. There was bird spot impressions and minor scratches in my black car which disappeared after applying.
