Great product. Hate the tongue.
I got these because I live in a wet climate and wanted some quick slip on shoes that were sporty looking and handled wet weather better than tennis shoes. These work perfectly and are exactly what I wanted. Comfortable and they fit perfectly.Problem I have, and why I will personally be replacing them with another brand/style soon is because the tongue itself isn’t connected to the shoe on the sides resulting in the necessity for me to adjust it every single time I slip them on.While it’s not a critical downside, and likely not a huge deal to basically anyone, to me it’s a design flaw for a shoe like this...Still, 4/5 stars from someone planning on replacing them should tell you they’re actually pretty great for what they are, definitely for the price. If you’re like me and don’t want to adjust the tongue every time you put your shoes on, skip these.

Pleasantly surprised
I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised when I got these. My last few amazon purchases have kind of sucked when I opened them. But this was different. These water shoes actually looked great out the box. I cant speak to their durability since I just got them and havent taken to the water, but they look like they are well made. I originally got these to wear while in my kayak and doing some fishing - as oppose to wearing my every day sneakers or hiking boots. These feel like they are going to be awesome. They fit nicely, they feel well built and the bonus is I actually like the way the look. I totally recommend these and totally thinking of getting my self another pair in black - oh yeah - because the price is freaking awesome too! Man, I feel like I sound like I'm being paid to say this, lol. I guess I'm really just excited about this being a good buy, lol. Hope this review helps.

They’re good for some things
I bought these for my dad for Father’s Day. I bought them so that he can wear them on his seadoo and while at beaches on the lake. Sand/rocks do get inside them unfortunately. He said they’re comfortable besides that. Not good boat shoes however, they don’t grip well enough when getting on the boat

comfortable
Although these were comfortable once they were on the feet, they were hard to put on. Without a separate tongue and with the snug knit material I found slipping them on extremely difficult. I have back pain and artificial joints which limit bending down to reach my feet for a prolonged time, but those without those limitations may find them comfortable. I was pleased to find adequate toe room (I like shoes in EEE width). I tried wearing these with and without socks and either way I couldn't easily slip them on although they were comfortable either way once they were on the foot.

Perfect Minimalist Shoes
I've used these all summer, and held off on reviewing them until I put them through the laundry. I got these to replace my Marrell barefoots. I've had them for 10 years and they are totally shot after repairing the sole a couple of times. These will not last that long but they are holding up great and are better than I expected. As water shoes they are well ventilated and even have drainage holes in the sole. They are comfortable even when wet, and dry quickly. Something I wasn't expecting was they are grippy as hell. The traction is really amazing, they don't slip or slide even on smooth wet surfaces. The only negative I've noticed is a few hefty thorns have stuck through the sole, but that isn't a deal breaker. I've also had to clean gravel out of the little drainage holes on the bottom. Bottom line is bang-for-buck you can't beat them. If these last 2 summers I'll be more than happy, and they look like they will last longer than that!

Amazingly comfortable and look great.
Absolutely awesome feeling shoes. I am struggling with a fairly severe back issue that has caused problems in both legs and feet and these feel so much better than any shoe I have tried. I can't express enough how much I am loving these shoes but I will be ordering more soon. I have to go try to wear off some of the soles first.I literally just got these on my feet so it could be to soon to tell but I honestly think they are going to hold up well. Also, due to my condition, it is extremely uncomfortable to walk barefoot, even inside on carpet and I prefer shoes off inside. These "barefoot" shoes make me feel as normal as can be and I am very pleased with my choice to buy them.Get some!!!

Seem Great, Size Runs Large
These Nortiv8 water shoes seem well made and are exactly what I was looking for. I got the grey ones, with the plastic ribbing on the outside. I normally wear size 9.5 (US, mens) and ordered an 8.5 based on their size chart. The fit is pretty good, I definitely wouldn't want them any bigger. They feel nice walking around the house. I haven't had a chance to go splashing with them yet, but will update this review if they don't perform as expected.UPDATE OCTOBER 2021: I've worn these water shoes a lot now in rocky and sandy creeks and am very happy with them. They don't dry out super fast, that might take an afternoon in the sun or a full night in a dry warm house, so that's something to be aware of if it's important to you.

Not the right fit
I couldn't find the last brand I ordered, was excited when I found these. First the good, they have a roomy toe box, and pretty durable knit material.Tried on wasn't sold at first, but tried again and thought they would work. I was wrong. The cuff around the ankle part is nothing like the other brand. It's not fitted, which I didn't realize was a problem until wearing them a whole day. My feet were killing me, I realized my feet were sliding around inside the shoes. Oh, that's right, the cuff is loose. So I used the bungy to try and snug them up real good. Except it doesn't stay! It loosens up again and then back to the same problem. And when the bungy is snug it bounces around hitting the ground. Can't return because they are a little dusty from walking outside. I'm not convinced I ordered too big, because I think my toes would be crunching into the front of the shoe otherwise. Not sure what I'm going to do with them. Maybe I'll save till colder weather and try again with my thick winter socks. I'm bummed

Just send any size
Ordered twice, returned twice. i am a size 11. the first time i was sent an 8 in a bag that said 7. way off. this time i was sent a size 11 bag but inside are size 12s. I don't understand the issue. are these people superstitious and afraid of the number 11? maybe they are employing people with learning difficulties who cant do numbers. whatever the issue, its a real shame because the product itself seems great. really soft fabric on the top, lots of grippy rubber on the bottom, a real good produt.

Fantastic, comfortable, and can pass for golf shoes.
This was my second pair (different style), this time for playing golf. As I like to wear bearfoot shoes, it seemed stupid to not wear them for golf where most of my walking happens. These are very comfortable, have great grips and going off my other pair, they last for years. The only thing I don't like so much is the drain holes, but to be honest they seem ok. I just worry about treading in goose poo when I'm golfing in them, those holes being as much inlets as they are drain holes. But they are meant for water usage, and although I wear these and my other pair around the house, going shopping, even driving (which makes them very convenient), I do also canoe, so I appreciate that.I've worn them for hiking too, I like the feel that they give underfoot, and outside of winter they're great for letting your feet get wet and not having to care - a very different approach to waterproof hiking boots, but I like it.Can't really praise them enough. I often wear ankle socks with them, but if not then perhaps go for half a size below what you'd take in normal trainers or shoes.

Honest review
I'm an 8 in UK so ordered 7.5 and we're perfect. Went waterfall hiking, they are a bit slippery, particularly in the first few days, need to scuff that factory coating of the rubber. And and shingle beach grains will always get in even the most expensive of water shoes so was not an issue. Easy to swim and hike in, felt stable. Takes longer than expected to dry, was 35 degrees in Costa Rica and still took most of the day on the balcony to dry off. For the price is a no brainer, will be using these for many more trips.

Transcendental level of comfort
Cannot speak for durability, as only recently recieved, but they are comfy as hell. You know when you're fresh out the shower and get into a newly changed bed....... that, but for your feet!Adequate sole protection, very lightweight and extremely prompt delivery. Great value for money so far.

Could be my entry into barefoot shoes
I bought these as water shoes for the summer, but they haven’t been off my feet since they arrived and I haven’t been near the beach. They’re pretty comfortable for the 5-8km walks I’ve been wearing them for and I’m going to get a lot of wear out of them. Great for the price.
