Good exercises - ignore the intro pages
This book is good for beginners to get into fitness. The exercises are easy but effective and you can modify them while still getting a good workout. I followed along with the videos (there's a website listed inside the book) but you don't have to; you can go at your own pace. I definitely feel a difference in my strength when I go out on hikes.My only complaint is the intro pages that talk about nutrition, etc. Based on the charts and explanation of the glycemic index, I should be eating more pizza and pasta and less sweet potatoes and fruit. Also, there's one paragraph that says a great source of protein is protein. I know I'm nitpickier than most, but it feels like a lot of copy/paste and little proofreading. I'd suggest doing your nutrition research elsewhere.Overall, I'd recommend this book. I've been on and off with it for about a year but it's easier and less expensive than going to the gym. Some of the resistance training exercises use gym equipment but you can do most of them with resistance bands or even dumbbells. The important thing with any fitness routine is to make it your own and don't feel like you have to follow it 100%.

The Perfect Tangible Item To Keep You On Track
I love this journal. I was looking for something to help me get into shape, but I had no idea where to start. I'm not able to go to the gym, and I did not like the thought of only having something available to me online. I need something tangible to keep track of where I'm going. If you write in pencil in this journal, when you repeat the 10 week program in future, you can either erase your old numbers, or keep them and just write your new numbers next to one another to see how far you've come on your fitness journey. The fact that it's reusable over time is the thing that made it worth the cost, for me. The only thing I think they need to do? During the online follow-along, they should have another person showing a modified form of the exercises. Some of this stuff is advanced, and a small tweak here and there would make it easier and less intimidating for people who are just starting out. Otherwise, this thing is perfect for people who do better with tangibles in connection with goals. I'll try to come back at the end of the 10 weeks to say how many inches I've lost (or gained in muscle in some areas).

Does the planning for you so you can just do the workout
Workouts are well put together & kicking my butt in the best way. I'm super out of shape & needed to start doing something, but had zero interest in figuring out what exercises, sequence, blah, blah, blah. Please just someone tell me what to do so I can sweat and get back in shape in the comfort of my own home. This book does exactly what I need & the videos with timers are a huge plus. For me, the beginning of the journal (diet, form, etc) was stuff that I already know, so not super useful, but I'm not mad at it either. Overall, very glad I bought this & I'd do it again.

Incredible At-Home Workouts
I had been trying to find a way to maximize my at-home workouts, and this journal is perfect! I'm on the second week, and it has been great. The workouts take 25-30 minutes, and I burn around 200 calories each (according to my smartwatch). I can't recommend it enough. I am using it in conjunction with the nutrition sidekick journal, and I plan to get the bodyweight journal when I finish this one.

LOVE IT!!!
I am absolutely loving this workout journal! I bought one for my daughter and myself, and we encourage each other. The workouts are laid out and are easy to follow but challenging physically. Strengthening has been my main goal, but I’m also down 2 pounds and I’m only on the fifth work out. Bonus!I am looking forward to experiencing some of the other journals that this company has.

Great guide
I loved starting off with educational. The daily workouts are great, but it starts off strong. So remember to do what you can. I cannot do burpees for a solid minute yet…so it’s a little discouraging. But I’m sticking with it and seeing results!

Absolutely the best book
I have been looking for such a book for a long time. This book works. You will FEEL it! Muscles you didn’t know you had will hurt! And best of all it doesn’t take two hrs in the gym per day to get the ‘burn’. I have actually recommended this book to my friends as well and they already bought it! JUST BUY IT! I promise, there will be no regrets!

I am excited to get started on this, it is very informative and I love that it has you tracking your body fat percentage when I used to always just do weight. Thumbs up!

Awesome workouts.
I have been following the workouts in this book for a few weeks now! They are so easy to follow. And you definitely feel like you’ve worked out the next day! I’m already feeling stronger and I look forward to my next workout!!!

Good workouts
A person at the gym I go to has this book, I looked it up and took a chance and purchased it. It was a good purchase. I like how the workouts are put together and the time it takes to complete them. I have always felt like I had a good workout when I finish one of these.

Tough but fun
Im loving the book so far. If you're a beginner like me it's a good idea to make sure you go at your own pace at first. Being a beginner, I like having weeks worth of workouts laid out for me. I find the videos very helpful as well so I can see exactly what the work out should look like.

Meh
I like it but.... I wish it was easier to use.... there’s illustrations with exercises, but they expect you to go to the back of the book and find and review each exercise in more detail the night before so that you’re ready to do it. Also I haven’t figured out how I will time the exercise and the rest periods in between. I guess I’ll have my phone timer handy to time each interval.
