This gooseneck microphone does not clearly state that additional pieces are required to be purchased in order for it to be operational. You will need to buy a Microflex Microphone that fits into the end of the gooseneck. It's not included.

This product does NOT include an actual cartridge. Read carefully.
I ordered this close to an event where I needed it and did not realize that there was no cartridge until it arrived. By then it was too late to obtain a cartridge and had to make other arrangements for my event. Very surprising and disappointing that it was not at all obvious that this was just the base and gooseneck and not a complete product.

THESE ARE ONE OF THE BEST MICROPHONES FOR DESK TOP USE. WE USE THEM IN THE LOCAL COURT ROOMS AND THE JUDGES NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT THESE MICS . THE SILENT TOUCH ON/OFF FEATURE WITH INDICATOR LIGHT IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT.
