It was easy to boil and mold, and sits pretty comfortably in the mouth, does not fall off when running or talking. The only thing is that it is a bit bulky and I can’t close my mouth with it on. It is also not actually flavored, though it is put in that category.

As usual, mouth guards that need to be boiled are never fool proof. Less than perfect fit, but my 13 year old son wears it and it protects his braces. He says he could live without the fake taste too.Description should note it needs to be boiled.

Finally convinced my 15 year old son to wear during basketball. He is very pleased with the fit and comfort. He can play more aggressively knowing he has protection while battling under the boards.

Got this for an 11 year old and it does what it's suppose to... dropped one star in that it's very pricey (a lot less here vs. local retailer), though still pricey for what it does. A less expensive option as a beta might be worth trying if you're not sure. Otherwise the item is very good overall.

I bought this as a nightguard to wear while i'm sleeping. I know it's for sport, etc, but my orthodontist recommended it. Well, it definitely does not work for that. It molds to my teeth and orthodontics (like it's supposed to) but how are my orthodontics supposed to work if this thing counteracts them and tries to push my teeth back into the molded position every time I wear it? Am I supposed to re-mold it every week so that it doesn't mess up my orthodontics? And even then, i'd still be messing up my ortho if I used it everyday. I'm sure this product works fine for people without ortho, but I bought it specifically because it's supposed to fit over my braces. Because it produces an air tight fit over them, it counteracts the entire purpose of braces (to align teeth), and thus is useless for me. It addition, once I put it on, it's really difficult to get off. I almost have to pry it from the back, fearing that I'm going to break my wire. If Shock Doctor wants to make a product that is truly exclusive to people with orthodontics instead of making a product that both people with and without orthodontics can wear, they should make a guard that has a wider inner channel that doesn't mold so tightly. I feel like I was a bit deceived by the advertising b/c this product is not for someone with braces unless you want to risk messing up your orthodontics. If I could return a used mouth guard, I would.

I purchased this for my son right after he had upper braces put in. The instructions are very easy to understand and it worked well. The fit was comfortable. He was able to breath easier and talk with it in his mouth. After getting his braces adjusted we were able to mold it perfectly.

Exactly what we expected, great product

13-year old son just got braces and needed protection for basketball. These mold into a custom fit and are working perfectly for him.

My lads first mouth guard with a brace so started off a bit unsure but it was so easy ti mould and fits very well

Despite following instructions and re-moulding it three times, this mouthguard simply doesn't stay in place on my daughter's mouth. Not any good I'm afraid.

El protector es perfecto para mi pues uso brackets y lo uso siempre para dormir. Es la segunda vez que lo compro. Es el unico que realmente me ha servido.Si es voluminoso pero si se prepara bien ajusta perfecto a la dentadura.

Despues de dudar y consultar con mi dentista, me decidi. El sabor no es del otro mundo pero el fit para brackets excelente

Funcionan perfectamente, el único inconveniente es que hay que ajustarlo cada que se ajustan los braces.
