JW Professional Shears Razor Edge Series - Hair Cutting Scissors & Thinning Shear Set

First self-haircut due to quarantine - used these (and the “unicorn ponytail haircut” tutorials on YouTube) and worked great! Cut smoothly. :-) The finishing shears kind of scare me, because I only barely know what I’m doing, but I did a pass or two with them and it sounded like clean sharp cuts of the percentage of hair. Cost less than my normal haircut would have (for long hair), and cut well and neatly, which is what I was looking for.

These are great! Nice and sharp and they work smoothly. They come with a nice little case as well that has space to hold a comb or another pair of scissors too. One word of caution - the finger holes may be a little tight for you if you have bigger fingers. I’m a small woman and they were great for me with the included rubber inserts. Overall very happy with this set

I really like these scissors for trimming my bangs. I thought they were a very good price and they work well.

I have a stockpile of scissors but wanted to buy some thinning shears. I'm so glad I spent the money on this set! They fit in my fingers so comfortably and they move so smoothly. The cut on these are perfect and sharp. They'll be the only ones I use from now on!! Love em <3

I love Jowell shears, & was looking for a new set. Due to Covid-19, I was not finding any at my local supply store. This was a pleasant find & Iam very pleased with the quality! I’ve been very busy since we reopened and these shears have been great!

Sharp and creates a great cut!

I purchased this scissor/thinning sheer set to be able to cut my husband’s hair while we wait for salons to open. I was a little disappointed in the quality. The color rings inside the finger holes fall out easily. And the thinning sheers had a bent tooth and excess metal that had to be straightened and filed for them to open and close properly. Both do cut well. Perhaps these are ok for amateurs to use for an emergency. If I were a stylist, I would invest in a better quality product - ideally scissors I could try first to make sure they are comfortable to use.
