The screws worked for me because I saw from the very first screw that I must predrill each hole run a standard screw of the same size in to the wood and back it out, then install the stainless steel screw. I was using these screws to fasten 3/8" plywood to pressure treated fir. The plywood was already predrill but had I not predrilled the pressure treated fir, I would have wasted half of the screw because the metal is so soft that a couple of jumps with the bit and you have stripped the screw head.They are stainless steel but soft so be aware how you apply and use them.

Screws strip out easy. Would someone break one of my fingers the next time I bought Phillip head screws. One out of 5 would strip out. Might be me but did not impress me.Appears to be SS, bought them to screw Boat Rib Rail on my new Dock pilings .

Works as expected on light gauge metal studs, will eventually get through red Z beams. (structural)The one thing we did notice you get one chance at making a hole the drill bit ends do not work at all for the second hole even in light gauge studs.I will purchase again when the need arises.

Nothing soft about these. They are sharper than the devil, and very low profile when used.

These drill better than the galvanized ones I've been using and I'm thinking they will take my paint better.

Wrong color cost me more to return it then it was worth will not order any more their products

Good quality, exactly what I needed. The heads don't strip out, the screw points are sharp. What more do you need.
