This is perfect for kitchens without a center island. I put the wheels on with ease. It is built well so it was difficult to get out of the box by myself due to the heavyness. Suggest you get a helper for that. It is very nice looking and could easily be wheeled into your diningroom as a side serving cart. The folding operation is easy and a great idea if you need to stow it away in a closet. I'm totally impressed with the design and quality of this product !

My rental house doesn't have enough counter space, especially when I am cooking and I need room to chop things, set pans, prep, etc.. I knew I needed an island or cart on wheels when I moved in, but they were all either too big for my space, or weren't tall enough for me to use as extra counter (I'm 6' tall and tired of low counters and carts). Also - I live alone and need to be able to move stuff that I add to my house, by myself. This cart is even more perfect than I realized when I ordered it. The box arrived (like any large box I get from UPS) very damaged so I was worried - however the item was encased in foam inside and the cart itself was perfectly fine. The item, because it folds flat, requires no assembly other than screwing the caster wheels into the base of the legs. Also - the casters are large! Thank goodness, big carts with tiny wheels are the norm which makes no sense to me, I want it to roll smoothly. It took 2 minutes to set this up. It's the perfect height, I got the white frame so that up against my kitchen wall when not in use it blends it, and absolutely looks like it was made to go in my kitchen. The top is very solid - it's not a full butcher block because that wouldn't work with the folding design, but it's much thicker than other reviewers made it sound. The cart is VERY sturdy. I'm not using it for appliances, but you absolutely could, including a microwave, without worry. It has a nice place to hang towels on the end too. This is the perfect kitchen cart. Get one.

I had originally purchased this to use for my microwave, but the height matches my kitchen counter so closely and the top looked so classy, I didn't want to cover it up with the microwave. I will find another solution for that. I have Origami shelves and these were portable as well. The portability (folding smaller for storage) was one strong reason for purchase. If I found I didn't need it for a time, I could just fold it for storage and it would take a lot less space. The top of the unit is blonde, like the general color of my cabinets. The side bar is great for a dishtowel. I was able to clear my counter of my large Crock pot and put it on the shelf. There was still room for the coffee maker and some canned goods on that shelf. I am able to use the second shelf for more canned goods and larger bags of chips, large boxes of cereal and nuts. If I needed another one of these, I would not hesitate to buy again from this company. Oh, and they protected it in shipping, so there was no damage. It was pretty easy to put together, although it would have been nice to have another set of hands to flip the top over to secure it. But I managed by myself with a little extra effort. Update: I've had this for over a year and it has held up really well!

Love this cart! Wanted another one but Was not available at the same price because the vendor I got it from no longer had it. But you can save money buy getting directly from the manufacturer and a lower cost free shipping and they have accessories for the cart ...I added the wine rack to my second one the price of the cart and added wine rack cost less than what they wanted on Amazon. Free shipping for orders over 100. I would recommend to buy this but go direct to the Manufacturer. Buy direct from mfg the quality is better the one in purchased from Amazon has a defect (a dent in the wood top), and the wood is slightly split. I don’t know if the vendors buy the seconds or rejects from the mfg and then sell online but the website for Origami Shelves has a section where you can buy stuff it’s called “open box”. I suspect that the Amazon vendors are buying some of that. The second cart that I go direct was in perfect condition, no dents or splits. But they are both very sturdy. Five stars would go to the product itself but only 4 stars for this vendor for overcharging me the first time and selling less than perfect product. Okay I gave it 4 stars because of the vendor... but also 4 stars stay because the rivet where the cart locks together failed big time. I had to hold the cart from falling while taking everything off of it to prevent further damage to to cart and my stuff. I will reach out to manufacturer to see what they say. I did fix it see the photos I posted. They need to use stronger rivets or do better quality control.

The wooden top is solid and serves as a place to fold laundry in a small laundry space. Decided not to install the wheels since it is being used as a “table,” and it sits level and sturdy. The lower shelves are great to store laundry products. Very pleased with this purchase, Thank you!

Worth every penny. It is such a joy to get a quality product that works perfectly. Easy to get the sturdy wheels on that lock and unlock easily. Easy to unfold and drop the butcher block top on the unit. Fits my microwave beautifully and provided additional storage space. I wish more things on Amazon were this beautifully designed. Both aesthetic and functional. Bravo.

Perfect for my outdoor cooking station near the barbeque in the patio. Very sturdy, easy to assemble, can hold alot of weight and can roll around. Im in love!!! A must buy!!
