Respironics Ultrafine CPAP filter for M Series and PR System One. OEM Part number 1029331 (without tab) & 1063096 by Spirit Medical

So many filters for such a low price for a product made in the U.S. The quality isn't lacking. Don't hesitate, purchase these.Me rambling:If you were prescribed any kind of machine that uses these filters, don't let the provider company repeatedly bill your insurance to send you new equipment absurdly marked up and required you an insane co-pay. My company is a reputable company, they provide excellent equipment, but after billing my insurance expected me to pay $120 co-pay for ONE of both kinds of filters, a new hose, a new mask, and a new soft-gel. A little less than half of that if you only request new filters (which again, is only one of the ultrafine, and one of the black sponge). On Amazon I found all products for less than $70. The mask at $40 was the most expensive, and was only purchased with the hose for an emergency backup. The filters together were less than $20 and both came with 6 each, so I have a year's supply for $20 compared to the $40 monthly my CPAP's provider wanted to charge. And yes, I did the research, the filters from that company are made from a 3rd party company in the U.S. just like these are.

My dad has been using a CPAP machine for a couple of years now. Initially, he got the machine, the filters and other supplies through a medical supply company in town, who billed the insurance company, with my parents paying the rest. I decided to check to see if the filters were available online for cheaper. I found these and was appalled to discover how much these medical supply companies mark up and charge for these tiny things. We got 12 filters in a pack for a fraction of what they paid the medical supply company AFTER the insurance had already paid a huge percentage of the total cost. These filters are the right size and work just as well and the more expensive ones. My folks will have me order these online from now on. That company will not rip them off anymore. These are great!

This is a good deal. My local medical supply store charges between $7-$12 apiece for these. This is something like $7.99 for 12 (around a year's worth) Our house is especially dusty and I go through a lot of these. This makes it a little more bearable. It sort of burns me up to pay what they charge for something that probably costs some small fraction of 1 cent to manufacture so anything close to a more reasonable price is appreciated.

The cost is less than my copay with insurance. Sick of the suppliers, who call me all the time to sell me replacement parts. They love to bill my insurance for lots of money and my copays. All people and the government, are conned into buying replacement parts we do not need. Cpaps are very good, but the companies that make and sell them, are scam artists who, first rent them to you, then sell them to you. Know its a medical device, but what they make on them is as bad as the drug companies make on drugs, that cost pennies to make and they sell for dollars.

I ordered these filters and received them really quick (2 days); I installed one of them and it fits in my machine perfectly. BUT, the product description leads you to believe you will receive a quantity of 12 filters. I'm here to tell you that what I got was a little sealed bag with only 2 filters in it. You can see from my picture that it says "2/pk" on the little bag. I contacted Amazon to see if they'll do the right thing but until I revise this review, Buyer Beware..... Only buy these if you feel a quantity of 2 filters is a fair price because that's what you're going to get, not 12.

Filters were as advertised and a good value. Filters were no thinner than the OEM's I get from my usual supplier. They work every bit as well as other filters I have used. Filters fit my machine as expected. Fast shipping and good overall product. Very satisfied.

After reading many complaints about the filters being the wrong size, I double and triple checked before ordering. I received exactly what I expected and these filters work as well as the overpriced filters I received from the insurance medical supply companies.
