Good Value for the Price.
You do get what you pay for and this being a lower priced hybrid it does sacrifice a bit on features. The XDS does not have: Quick Release axles, it is missing a set of mounting screws on the frame upright if you would like to attach a carrier like a Topeak MTX system, the seat post does not have a shock, and is only about 10 inches long. I happen to be 6'2" which would be at the extreme limit for the bike without a longer seat post. This one says it is 272 mm or about 10.6 inches. I am thinking of replacing it with one that is at least 350 mm which would provide an additional 3-4 inches in length. When the Bike came, I began the assembly process after removing all the shipping material, which was rather simple: insert steering post into front fork, tighten handle bars into post, attach peddles, reflectors and bell, and put on front wheel. Then the harder part and one that most beginners may not understand how to true up a wheel. Both wheels were out of round and needed to be trued so they would run straight, not wobble, and not rub against the brakes. This may not be something most people know how to do. If your bike comes with wheels that are not trued, just do a YouTube search and you will video some helpful videos. The owner's manual covers a number of different style bikes and is not 100% specific to this one. It does contain most the of the information any owner may need. That being said, it is still a good value for a hybrid bike. The frame is well built and one that should give years of service.

I'd have to say so far so good.
I haven't been on a bike in a long while. Not sure if it is that or the geometry of the frame that makes this bike feel different. My last bike was a mountain bike so it is quite a drastic departure. I'd have to say so far so good.

Rear wheel needs truing
Rear wheel arrived extremely wobbled. Had to buy a spoke wrench and spend a good while to get it true so it didn't rub against the brakes.Other than that it's a solid budget hybrid.

This Bicycle is Excellent.
This bicycle is great. With some minor installations (seat, handlebars, etc) I was on the bike path at the local park in a matter of minutes. My first bike ride I had to make some minor adjustments to the brakes (to be expected) and the bike performed very well. I love this bike.I would recommend it to anyone as it is a very solid, sturdy bicycle.

Beware exploding tires
After assembling the bike, I was pumping the tires. The tires say 60 to 85 lbs. The inner tube exploded at 50 lbs. They are Kenda 35/43c tubes.Other than that, it seems like a good bike. Won't find out how it rides till I get a new tube. I'd hit em up for a warranty tube, but I don't want another cheap Kenda tube.
