What's the best way to store the oil-based markers? vertically tip up/down or horizontally?

I don't know what the company would say is the appropriate way to store the pens, but I put them in a jar with the tip down so that the oil paint is ready to use, rather than having to prime the tip every time. I figure that helps keep the tip from drying out, too. Only my opinion. I don't know for sure.

Can these be used to write on plant labels for outside plants

Would these work on cork

Can it be used to fill in missing paint on cars?

I have only used mine on things inside that weren't exposed to the outside elements so I'm not sure how long it would stay on the car but the coverage would be good from what I can tell.
