This product by this manufacture is absolute garbage. For the price there should be no issue whatsoever. I saw used switch controllers that are actually made by Nintendo at a game stop for half the price. These would not charge, they would not hold a charge, and they would not work with the Nintendo switch Console. When we contacted the manufacture they claimed it was a mistake on our part and that we didn’t have them connected correctly. * eye roll *The only good thing to come out of this is that we got a refund. Hopefully this saves someone else time and money.

A great replacement for the originals and better price than them as well. Work great with the switch

Much better and cheaper to use and buy than the stuff and price that switch offers in their factory joycon. The only problem I saw was that at times it freezes and I have to pinch it softly with a small nail in the small reset button on the back.

Don’t waste your money. The controllers worked for exactly 35 mins then the joy stick started drifting on one controller and the A button started sticking and not responding on the other controller. Also, the vibrate was not the same as the Nintendo controllers. I’m playing Animal Crossing and when you cast your line out it would vibrate the same as it would when you catch a fish. I am getting a refund and just went ahead an bought Nintendo replacements. Also, I didn’t think ahead when I bought these, they do not fit in the steering wheel or hand held control for when you use the TV.

i bought these because i wanted to save some money on joy cons and its safe to say this is the most disappointing purchase ive made.- no mater what i do the joy cons wont connect the the switch, so i have to keep the joy cons slightly sticking out, or hold the joy cons in my hand to play.- vibrate VERY loudly and are very uncomfortable.- drains the battery of the switch when connected and last about an hour- dont charge when i put them on the switch in the doc, i have to plug the joy cons into an wall outletDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Pros:+Very comfy in the hand+Beautiful, colorful buttons with satisfying clicks and good response from presses and control stick movement is indistinguishable from the official Nintendo product.+Bafflingly excellent motion controls for the price; I was so worried it would stink and it really really didn't.+Very satisfying to play while attached to the console on the go; the ergonomics and grip-grooves carved where the pinkies rest make handheld mode a non-slip dream.Cons:-Charging and power lights on the rail do shine through the face of the plastic on the front slightly compromising the overall image during play.-Doesn't wake up your console on pressing buttons (+ which is actually a blessing in disguise for me because it means you can just toss them in a drawer and not worry about them turning on and draining their batteries).-You need to be careful with how hard you press your buttons because if you're a hard button-masher you may experience a sharp decline in how responsive your buttons are after continuous use.Summary:These are an excellent deal as a set of spare joy cons for when your primaries run out of juice. The retro design feels exactly as good as it looks and if you're buying it just for aesthetics, you're gonna have a good time. It is very easy to see and feel that it is made of cheaper materials and parts than the official joy cons from Nintendo and that's why it's such a good deal, but as long as you're not too rough with them and press your buttons only just hard enough to send the signal, you'll get a lot of mileage out of these and the response won't degrade for a good long while. When playing in hand-held mode, you feel a lot more secure about holding your Switch in your hands. While they will still ache from just the weight of the Switch itself after a while, they'll do so less quickly and at a noticeably lesser degree because you aren't trying to keep the sides of it from slipping out of your hands so much when you use the R/L/Z buttons. A lot of that pain comes from pinching the console with your whole hand too hard because of the straight design of the original joy cons. They don't wake up the switch when you start pressing buttons, but they also won't turn on when you put them in a drawer or they get bumped or accidentally wake up the switch for no reason if you accidentally press a button while moving them. The green lights do sort of glow through the plastic on the face of the joy cons and that does spoil the image just a little. Very little to bother you, a lot batting in their favor.So yeah, buy it. It's a solid deal.

These feel good in my hand. They paired automatically when I slipped them into the Switch and the batteries last just as long as our original controllers. Our Switch did freeze and reboot itself the day after we got these, but it could be unrelated because we've used these controllers for 4 days now and it hasn't happened again. We only recently bought the Switch, so I have no idea if that's normal or now for it to freeze occasionally.
