Americana Lock 'N Go Electric Grill, Red

This is a great small grill. It cooks everything quick and easy, it washes up so easy. Assembly was ok just take your time. The only thing we found is that the wing nut that holds the element is difficult to screw on and off. Other than that my husband loves it and I like that it is easy to clean.

Arrived without legs so we can’t use it.ETA you don’t need the legs. They just made a strange instruction booklet so it’s very confusing as they show legs but you put it on a pedastal

I should have been suspicious when the grill came in a plain unmarked box. The assembly instructions are inaccurate and difficult to interpret. I can't figure out how to secure the top. The grill sits lopsided due to screws not lining up. Where you would expect supports, such as holding the grilling surface or holding the top on, all you have are the ends of screws. The unassembled parts are constructed of such thin metal that I cut my hand during assembly (stitches not required). I can't believe that I paid $75 for this grill. It's worth $19.99 @ the most and is still an inferior product. I really think that Amazon should remove it from their selections.

So I've built quite a few outdoor BBQ's in my time and found them all to be a bit wobbly at best, that's just not the case here. as well as this is an indoor electric grill. Instructions are easy to follow on the two different models also. all and all, seems like a very well made electric grill once assembled, plenty of room to cook on, and well made parts. Should last for many years of use, only thing to go out would be the probe controller, time will tell on that. it has a place to remove the probe and add a cover what makes into a charcoal briquette BBQ as well

I believe the top cover came wrong but there is a better way to use it if I have the missing parts. I would like to receive the small caps to cover the holes.

I'm very happy with this grill! I know a lot of people commented on it being a challenge to assemble, but I found it pretty easy. The instructions tell you which product number the instructions are for... plus it's pretty intuitive.It's bigger than I anticipated (which is great) and works well. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that if you are expecting it to work like a bbq it won't. It is definitely a grill. So it doesn't give the food that char that I was really wanting.
