OGIO Women's Brooklyn Tablet Purse, Black, Medium

I love this bag. It's a nice color, dark gray, light black. It is very durable , I use it everyday and take it everywhere I go. I can fit so many things in it, there are 3 compartments and 2 of them have pockets with either a zipper compartment or just a pocket and some pen/pencil holders, because it can be used for a small laptop or kindle, iPad, ect. The center pocket is padded, and is made for security on your electronic devices. There's a small pocket with zipper under the button flap in the front, I hardly use, but store bandaids, just in case. I wanted to write a good review because I had gotten another compliment on it today and I've had it for going on 2 years. I was looking for a different color because when I ordered this one there were other options. I only see this color now. I'm going to go on their store sight to see their other products.. Anyway, if you're thinking of buying this one, you should, it's a good purchase, especially for the price!

I recently purchased this bag and it has already became one of my favorite bags. The description says it's a black bag but it's more of a dark gray. Inside the bag, it's lined with a cute black and white houndstooth print. There is an iPad sleeve, which I use to keep my phone in so it get extra protection. On one side of the iPad sleeve there is 2 large pockets and a pen holder for 3 pens. On the other side, there is a zippered area. Underneath the buttons on the front there is also another zippered pocket. I put things I don't use as much because it is harder to get to. As other reviewers have mentioned, the strap isn't ajustable. I am 5'7 and the bag fits me perfectly, even while wearing a heavy winter coat. I measured the strap and it's about 45 inches long. The strap is also very thick. Therefore, you won't have it digging in your shoulder. Pros: 1. This bag is extremely light! After I switched from my leather bag to the Ogio bag with the same items in it, I couldn't believe how much lighter it was. 2. There is tons of pockets, which is great for organization. 3. I don't have to worry too much about getting the canvas material dirty or ripped because it's very durable and thick. 4. The tag also said it comes with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, which most bag companies don't offer. Cons: 1. The strap isn't adjustable. 2. The canvas material attracts cat/dog fur. 3. They should of made the buttons on the front snaps instead of actual buttons. Overall, this bag is great and easily one of my favorite bags. I would love to get more colors! I would recommend this bag to moms who don't need to carry diaper bag anymore but still need to carry some of their kids items in their bag, to college kids who need to carry their iPad or pretty much to anymore who wants a stylish, lightweight, organized bag.

I love this purse. It was a little bigger than I expected, but I guess I tend to get smaller purses. This bag is big enough to hold a regular notebook paper notebook with a little wiggle room. I really like that fact about it, couse I don't like small notebooks, and I like to draw/doodle, but mostly scribble. The purse came sooner than I expected. When I order something from Amazon, it usually comes a couple days late, but this came on the predicted day, and it even came in the morning, so I was very pleased. One thing about the flap, is from the pictures, it looks like it covers the whole top of the bag, but it only covers the small front money pocket. It's still absolutely ADOREABLE. The strap is the exact length that I like (I'm about 5') but my friend tried it and said she likes it longer. The inside fabric is a busy black and white stripe pattern, so it would be nice if it wasn't so busy, but you get used to it. I've only had this for two days, so I can't say if it's sturdy or not, but with my other purses it starts ripping where the strap joins the bag, but as that part is all one piece, I can't imagine it ripping there, and how it's designed, I can't imagine it ripping anywhere else either. My bro said that in person it looks a little like a diaper bag, but that's just his boyish opinion (he's 11) I know a lot of people didn't like how the I pad pocket is in the middle, but I like to have it as a separator. I have a notebook and books on one side, and pens, lotion, chap stick, etc. On the other. So yeah that's my lengthy review. But over all I love this purse and would definitely get it. P. S. Sorry, I tend to be a critic and only point out the things I don't like. But this has plenty of things I love.

Let me start put by saying, it was worth the back ordered wait (at least for my wife) she isn't a fan of purses, or carrying a bag for that matter, but she doesn't leave the house without this thing. She loves the fact it can protect her ipad, and carry a few other things along with it, without the fear of messing it up. Size, it's about the size of a sheet of paper, it seems larger in the pictures, but it's quite small. My wife carries her tablet. Keys, a small purse brush, and a few other things and there is still room to spare. As for the tablet sleeve, if you have protection on your ipad, consider tht it will be a little tougher getting it in and out of that sleeve because itis designed for a naked ipad, maybe with the apple Smart Cover... Maybe. The inner pocked wont zip around it, but it's really no big deal, we were quite expecting that. She has a moshi case and it still slides into the pocket. The length of the strap seems like it fits her perfectly it hangs at her hips, she is 5'4" with a slender build. The inside color is a little crazy... It's like relaxed and chill on the outside... And bats%^t crazy on the inside when you open it, quite the design choice. She also enjoys the many pockets it has.Like others have said the outside pocket under the buttons would be so much better to use if they were stylish magnetic buttons, they are really cumbersome to undo and get into while on the go... It's quite the show to watch... She doesn't really use it any longer, and it's a shame because It is a nice sized phone pocket. The bags exterior seems thin, we have had a few rainstorms and she will usually tuck the whole thing under her shirt if we are caught in the rain for fear it will leak and allow the inside to be wet so that's unfortunate, I believe she even once grabbed a grocery bag to tie it up in. However it's not a serious mark against it, but it is an inconvenience. All in all, she's happy I'm happy, it's a fantastic bag at a great price!

UPDATE 4/26/2016: Still a GREAT purse! My OGIO bag is currently holding up after all this time since my original review! No rips, no tears, buttons are still intact, zippers didn't break... It's still a 5-star item! At my local stores, I have yet to find a designer bag to replace this perfect purse and I have been looking for one because I really want that perfect designer bag! But alas... no luck as of yet. However, I highly recommend you get it this purse if you have been thinking about it because nothin' beats it! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I just recieved my black OGIO purse today and so far, no major issues with it! The strap is not too long or not too short and it sits exactly at my waist just fine when I have the strap of the bag crossed over my body. I am 5'5", if that will help anyone tell sizewise. The only two things I would nitpick about the bag are first, the pocket behind the buttoned flap. Yes, that was a poor design decision, but I guess you could put a somewhat valuable item in the pocket so it would not easily get stolen. Also, since I purchased a black OGIO bag, it tends to attract unwanted hair like pet hair. The stray hair that sticks to the bag however is easy enough to get off using your fingers or using a hair removing roll on the bag, but if the hair issue would bother you too much, I suggest not getting a black OGIO bag and get it in another color instead. I also use the pocket where my smartphone is suppose to go for a small tissue package. Since I use it for that reason, there is not another large enough personal pocket for your smartphone besides the larger zipper pocket on the other side of the inside of the bag. Also another thing to note, since I got a newer model of the black OGIO purse, there is no polka dotted lining inside of it. Instead, there is a black and white zigzag pattern for the inside lining of the purse. Also, the three buttons on the outside of the bag are not fabric buttons like the preview picture of the black OGIO purse, but they are the metal buttons that are featured on the other preview images of the different colored OGIO purses. Just thought I should let others know that before ordering. In conclusion though, this purse is a five star item and if I had the money saved up, I would order it in another color! I used it out in the town today and it is a great purse!

I used this purse for travel and a cruise. I am 5’4” and the cross body was perfect for me. The wider strap is comfortable so it doesn’t dig into your shoulder. My IPad fit perfectly in the center section. My iPhone fit in the phone pouch inside and there’s spaces for pens. The center IPad section is connected at the bottom so items don’t get stuck under it. The main zipper closes securely keeping all contents inside. The strap is one solid piece with the purse so no worry about straps breaking (that’s happened a lot to me carrying a lot on vaca). I like the small exterior zipper area to store a key, cruise card or quick access item. I did not need to unbutton to access the zipper - just reach under the flap and unzip - but this keeps access safe. The purse is very roomy without being huge. Easy to carry. It was perfect for my trip. The outside buttons make it cute - but since it’s canvas it does have a sportier (not dressy) look. I’m so happy I had this on our trip!

I bought this as it was recommended by a colleague, and several other colleagues had purchased one like it. It is well-made, and I like the look of the bag. I love the buttons, but they are very hard to unbutton, and this makes it hard to access the zippered pocket underneath the flap. There is a very nice zippered pocket for a tablet in the center of the main compartment. The two spaces on either side are roomy enough for a few essentials--billfold, glasses, etc. The lining is very nice and tight so things don't get lost in the fabric. The bag is not large enough for files, notebooks, etc. However, if you do most of your work from a tablet, it would be a great bag for keeping what you carry with you to a minimum. I have a bad habit it loading mine up too much and making it heavy. The shoulder strap is not adjustable but is an ok length, although, I feel it could be just a little longer. I'm only 5'2", so the length might be an issue for someone taller if you were wanting a cross body. The zipper is long enough to get a full view of the inside of the bag. However, it is harder when the bag is completely full. The bag is pretty structured and just a big stiff which might be helpful to keep you from "losing" things in it. It just didn't meet my needs as well as I had hoped it would. The structure and quality of the bad made it a good value for the price.

I am so pleased with this bag. I was looking for something that was itself lightweight and washable that could hold my wallet, glasses case, phone, some meds, .5L water, maybe a notebook in, with a design that makes sense. This is it. Due to chronic illness I don’t get out much, so my needs are unique, and different than they used to be. However, given how I’ve chosen and used bags in the past, I think I would’ve found this one useful, even in the Before time. I can think of an international trip in which if I hadn’t packed my Canon FTb, film, etc I could’ve used this as my “personal item”/daily bag. I keep my inhaler in the zipper pocket under the buttons. It’s out of the way but still accessible if I need it in a hurry. The inside has adequate pen loops and smaller elastic pockets that can accommodate a phone, etc. I use the tablet pocket for emergency eye drops & other stuff that can pack pretty flat. The two compartments are just right for the stuff I wanted to carry around, and I don’t find them too welcoming of clutter. The strap lays flat and is long enough for my 5’8” 36GG UK bust (measured/fitted properly) frame to sit right at my hip, which is where I want it to be. I’ve also had less of an issue with the crossbody strap unbuttoning my shirt than with other crossbody bags, perhaps because the strap is quite wide as well as lightweight. YMMV with how much is carried in the bag, but I’ve had no problem carrying crossbody on a previously-injured/nerve-damaged shoulder (because I forget until it lets me know I’ve done something stupid). Also works well over the shoulder. The black fabric has some sheen to it—I’d almost call it dark graphite, but it’s also not gray. It suits me fine.

I was looking for a versatile bag that would be both comfy and attractive. I walk a lot and tend to carry a book bag because I find bags usually don't meet my needs or dig into my shoulder after a while. This is my first across the chest bag in about 15 years. I bought it because I am no longer a student and need to upgrade to something more classy than a book bag. EXTERIOR: Love the material! It seems durable and maybe even a little water resistant. The "OGIO" name is embroidered in white on one side and is attached on front in black metal. The buttons are also metal which I like the look and feel of (and more durable than plastic), however they are difficult to open, although that also makes it more secure I guess! There is a front secret pocket under the flat, I will probably only use it for something important that I don't use very often since it is harder to access. The strap is flat and wide which I think will be comfortable and distribute weight more evenly than a shoulder bag. The strap is NOT adjustable but it fits perfectly for me. For reference I am about 5'6 and the top of the bag hits just at the top of my hip bone. I am large chested and it seems to fit fine, I am not sure how it will fit over a winter coat but I guess I'll find out in a few months. INTERIOR: The inside of the bag is a zigzag pattern, cute but I would have preferred the polka dots personally (I think the interior depends on the color you buy). The padded tablet pocket is very nice and much bigger than I expected. I put my 7 inch tablet (with case) in there and still had plenty of room! So I put ANOTHER 7 inch tablet (with case) inside and it could still zip up! The front and back of the purse both have large compartments. The back also has a large zippered pocket. The front has a few organizers. I am attaching some photos because amazon.ca does not have very many and I nearly passed on this purse cause I did not realize how great it would be! I will be using it to carry my essentials and tablet. It looks like there will be enough room to also carry my water bottle and a few chargers too. I do not have kids but I think it could also work as a small diaper bag cause it is pretty roomy! SHIPPING: I have been watching the tracking for weeks waiting for this and it just arrived today! :) Take note that this bag will not be shipped for 2-3 weeks, however once it was shipped it arrived relatively fast (a week early!). When I opened the box, I knew it was worth the wait! :) COLOR OPTIONS: Overall the only thing I am disappointed about is the limited color options on the amazon.ca website (there are more options for .com but some of them won't ship to Canada). I ordered the black one because I think it will be the most versatile of the options available, however I really love the wine color! I found the wine color on another website but it was more expensive and did not include shipping. Since I only recently finished school, I could not justify an extra $25 for a different color so I ordered black. The black is beautiful though! (just not my first choice).

Die Tasche ist einfach super. Ist meine zweite und habe sie auch schon weiter empfohlen. Komplett mit Reißverschluss schließbar. Innen mit 2 Reißverschlüssen und Fächern für Kugelschreiber oder Lippenstift. Der Stoff ist super robust und sieht nach Jahren (meine erste Tasche) immer noch top aus.

Loads of pockets, excellent quality I use daily as a handbag!

身長161cmの私に斜め掛けが丁度よくて、肩掛けには少し長い。 アイパッド以外に長財布、ケータイ、化粧ポーチもうまい具合に収まりました。 色はどれもデザインにあっていて迷いましたが、ブラックにしました。 画像でみるとブラックのボタンが包みボタンに見えますが、普通のボタンで良かったです。 色違いも欲しくなりました。
